Harrison ducked down to switch to his Chinese Assault Rifle.

Perhaps he had been tempting fate by boasting about how mutant-free his little excursion was going to be.

The master yelled at him. 'GET OUT 'N FIGHT!' and the other two mutants cackled and squeezed the triggers on their guns. The captive was covering in the cart cage she was caught in. Harrison thought to get to the door, so she wouldn't get caught in the crossfire.

That was, of course, if his gun hadn't of jammed for the fourth time that day. He smacked it, reinserted the ammo cartridge again, while the mutants moved closer. Feeling like he was soaked in sweat, he squeezed the trigger and hoped that it would work.

The master grunted as two bullets lodged themselves into his foot, Harrison poked his head up from his hiding spot, with his gun blazing, making sure to avoid the captive.

He took a lesser mutant before he had to load again, it was only then he realised that he only had three bullets left.

The master -with greater rage than before- charged, and shoved the car where Harrison was hiding to the side, leaving the fumbling boy exposed to possible damage. The master swung his super sledge, missing Harrison's nose by inches. Harrison screamed.

He got cocky, and now karma was teaching him a lesson.

He scrambled to his feet, grabbing a frag grenade from his backpack, as a bullet ripped through his side. He groaned and ripped the pin of the grenade out and threw it behind him. Hopefully the mutants were stupid enough to walk into it.

The other lesser mutant stepped directly onto the grenade, too caught up in the chase for the boy who interrupted their plotting time. The mutant let out a final growl, and collapsed.

The master, however, had just gotten out of the blast radius when it exploded, and crippled his arm, making it impossible to swing the sledge without hitting itself. It growled and grunted at Harrison, telling him to give up, as there wasn't any hope.

Harrison almost felt like giving up too, he had barely any ammo, used his last grenade, and his back up Scoped .44 Magmum was broken.

However, the keyword was almost.

Harrison ducked behind a boulder and slipped on his Valid Points. Surely the master was weakened enough now?

The master caught up, and roared in Harrison's face, leaving a convenient place for Harrison to strike. He lodged the points into the roof of the mutant's deformed mouth, causing it to bite hard on Harrison's wrist. He yelped and struck his other fist into the mutant's eyes making it yell and release his bleeding arm.

After that point, Harrison struck wildly; he closed his eyes and hoped to hit flesh. Then, he heard the relieving sound of a mutant falling.

He caught his breath and opened an eye, and saw the heap that was chasing him for what seemed, hours. It didn't even seem that scary when it wasn't bolting after you.

He gave it an almighty kick and slowly made his way back up to the chapel.
