"How'd ya career plannin' go?"
That Saturday afternoon had found Selena Somnium and Mundungus Fletcher outside beneath a birch tree. Mundungus broached the topic with no real goal other than to start conversation.
"Oh, it went well. I think I shall stay with inventing spells, only a bit more advanced. What about you, Mundungus." Mundungus had told her many times not to use his full name (as it really was a stupid name in his opinion, but Selena had a way of forgetting the little thing like that).
"Don't know, really. Don't think ma grades will be high 'nuff for any o' them big boys in the min'stry." Selena stared at him for a minute with her large silvery-blue eyes. A lot of his fellow Slytherins thought that she was quite unnerving when she did that, but after being friends with her for five years, it disintegrated into nothing.
"You should talk to my aunt. She's a gypsy in the Wizarding Underworld."
"Ya think I'd be a good gypsy?" Mundungus asked incredulously.
"No, but there are other occupations available in the Wizarding Underworld you would be good at."
"Such as?" Mundungus was getting curious.
"Tradesmen on the black market"
"Tradesmen on the black market"
Her words of "wisdom" resounded in his ears as he raised his glass to no one in particular and took a hearty gulp.
"Yup, good ol' Selena, always knew wha' to tell a guy."
