The room was almost empty now. The trunk was full of almost everything he owned. He had sent a few things to his family that had knew he would not need.
Looking around the vacant room, he couldn't help but sense that it was all beginning. They were starting the adventure they had dreamed for many years.
In their imaginations, they had traveled the world and conquered its' every corner.
They had seen wonders they never knew existed and left their marks everywhere they walked.
Hephaestion smiled as he left the room.

See me across this room.
Don't just look my way occasionally and then look away again.
Look at me.
Let me feel your smile as you look at no one else but me.
Let me feel the warmth of your touch.
Look at me and really see me.
See my emptiness.
See my loneliness.
Look at me and give me reason.
Reason to stay by your side.
Reason to lose more of myself everyday.
Look at me Alexander, let me love you.
Hear me screaming silently to you now.
