Sesame Street Presents: Gabi the Grouch Part One

It was a nice day on Sesame Street. Ernie, Bert, Baby Bear, Telly and the Count wanted Oscar to play a game of baseball with them in the park but Oscar told them that he was sick and could not come out of his can. When everyone was out of sight Oscar popped out of his can.

"What did you think of my plan?" Oscar asked his pet worm Slimey.

"What plan?" Slimey asked.

"The plan that I was sick and couldn't come out of my can," Oscar continued, "but that's not all part of my plan." He reached in his can and grabbed a machine. "With this I'll turn Elmo into a grouch!"

Oscar knew that at around this time every day Elmo was in Elmo's World. At that moment Oscar pushed a button on his machine zapping Elmo's World with a beam of pure grouchiness. But the beam didn't hit Elmo, it hit Gabi instead!

Meanwhile Ernie and his friends were in a middle of a baseball game in the park. Ernie threw the baseball towards Bert. Bert hit the ball and got a home run. "Awesome!" everyone exclaimed.

A few minutes later Oscar started moving his things into Elmo's World.

Doesn't It feel good being a grouch?" Oscar asked.

"Elmo doesn't know what Oscar's talking about," said Elmo.

"I was trying to turn you into a grouch," Oscar complained. "If you're not a grouch…then who is?"

Slam! Suddenly two trash cans fell over Elmo and Oscar.

"Gotcha both!" Gabi laughed. "I'm going to turn the two of you into a grouch! And I don't care how long it takes!"

Finally It was Telly's turn to bat.

"I hope that I will get a home run today just like Bert did," Telly told Baby Bear.

As soon as Telly was ready to bat Bert explained to Telly that they lost all of their baseballs. Telly gasped as the story ends with the caption ''To be continued…"
