When the night turns into day
I suddenly feel a need to run back inside
I can not stand the light as much as you can
I want to be there for you during the day
But the night time is the only time
That i can come out and see your face
If i was not afraid of the day
Then we could run and have a lot more fun
You asked why i am afraid of the day
It is because i was once captured
Someone helped me escape
But i am still afraid of the day
None of my old friends even look at me
Oh well, i have a new friend and that is you
But never say my name, but if you must call me
Call me the grey faerie.
