Chapter 0. Prologue
Calmly and slowly, two individuals walked down a deep and overgrown forest path. In the lead was an older blond haired male, who's long blond locks framed the side of his face and almost overshadowed his bright blue eyes. The man stood at a towering six feet tall and had a very impressive muscular build. He was dressed in a loose fitting gray shirt with a high collar that was kept closed at the top by a gold band, but was left open below to expose his collarbone. He also had loose gray pants, with tight bands just below the knee that reached down to his flimsy sandals.
However, the man's most striking feature was his Magic Knights robe, which he wore proudly over his shirt. The robe consisted of a short, fur mantle with longer, frilled panels that hung down to the elbow. Then where his right pec would be was where the symbol for the Silver Eagles was embroidered onto his robe. Finally on the man's left hip was a bright blue Grimoire, which was tucked away into a small protective latter of which had a long sheathed katana resting underneath.
Next was the younger man walking besides the clearly older male. The second individual was a young teenager with a slender athletic build, fair skin, narrow purple eyes, and small eyebrows. He unlike the blond had pale, silver-white hair worn in a very distinctive style, as the individual had his hair long and straight at the lower back, while the top and upper side portions of his hair are heavily styled and swept back into a long spiky fringe. His long bangs were styled into a braid that hung between his eyes and down to the tip of his nose, where a small family crest for the house of Silva could be seen.
However, the silver haired teenager wasn't dressed like the older man he was with. Since the boy didn't have a Magic Knights robe, sword or a Grimoire. Though the boy was dressed in a rather expensive blue dress shirt and pants, while the house of Silva crest was clearly seen on his shirt.
"Father." The younger of the two began, revealing they were in fact a father and son duo. This of course caused the older of the two to glance down to his son. "Why are we going to the Forsaken Realms? Mother should be due to give birth within the next couple of days."
Laughing loudly and patting his son's shoulder, the father grinned wide. "Well Nozel you're one year from turning 15 and that means you will be receiving your own Grimoire soon. So I feel it's high time I share something with you." The father explained before looking forward with a carefree expression. "Besides we will make it home in time to see your little sister be born. I promise on my title as a Magic Knight Captain that Naruto Silva will not miss the birth of his little girl!"
Nozel nodded with a blank expression and continued to follow after his father. "If you say so Father, but what do you wish to share with me?"
Naruto folded his arms and squinted one of his eyes, while the other glanced down at Nozel. "Tell me Nozel, what do you know about me and your Mother?"
"Well you're the Captain of the Silver Eagles, while Mother is your Vice-Captain. It's a squad you both founded together after your original squad was disbanded and you were appointed by the Magic Emperor to be a Magic Knight Captain." Nozel explained in a matter of fact tone, making Naruto slightly sigh.
"You're not wrong Nozel, but that's not what I'm asking." Naruto began softly, which made the younger of the two tilt his head. "What I'm asking is what do you really know about me and Acier? Do you know who we were before we became your parents, before we founded the Silver Eagles and even before we were the Steel War Princess and the Water Devil. Do you know anything about me or your Mother?"
Nozel bit his lip and took a moment of silence, he was close to his father and looked up to the man. He also had an equal amount of love and respect for his mother, but at the same time he discovered how little he knew about the two.
"Well I know Mother was the oldest of the Silva family making her the head of the family. Well before she married you Father and you became the head of the Silva family. I also know you were the lost child of a noble family-. . ."
"Wrong." Naruto chimed in loudly, which caught Nozel off guard. "Your Mother is a noble you're right about that, but I'm a peasant from the village that we are traveling to. Me being the son of a lost noble family was just a lie the Silva family created to hide the shame of your Mother marrying a classless peasant and having you."
Nozel's eyes were wide in disbelief, which made Naruto slightly frown. "So I'm a half noble bastard?" The silver haired boy asked with a spiteful tone, which caused Naruto to roll his eyes and stop in his tracks.
"No you're my son Nozel and don't ever forget that." Naruto began in a stern tone, while he placed both hands onto his son's shoulders and looked him deep in the eyes. "Judge people by the contents of their heart, not by the circumstances of their birth. I want you to remember those words now and always Nozel."
Slowly lifting up his hands, Nozel placed them both to his chest. "The contents of my heart?" The boy asked softly.
Naruto smiled and nodded. "It's something an-. . ." Naruto took a slight pause and took a moment to gather himself. The 32 year old father of three and almost four looked momentarily defeated and that was something Nozel quickly picked up on. "It's something an old friend told me when I first discovered I was in love with your Mother. I was worried about my status as a peasant and hers as a noble from the house of Silva. However, the person helped me discover that titles like noble and peasant mean nothing. What truly matters is what kind of person you are."
Nozel took a moment to absorb what his father was saying. It was shocking at first, but it finally began to make since for their sudden trip to the Forsaken Realm. Naruto was wanting to share his true origins with his eldest son.
"Well what kind of person are you Father?" Nozel began softly, while he looked his father in the eyes for answers. "Tell me the story of the Water Devil and the Steel War Princess."
Naruto smiled and walked over to a large rock, then as the Captain of the Silver Eagles took a seat. He motioned for his son to join his side and take a seat with him. Nozel of course obeyed without question and took a seat right beside Naruto. Causing the older man to smile and wrap an arm around his son.
"Let me start from the beginning Nozel." Naruto began in a happy tone, while he looked forward aimlessly. "With the day I met the people who watched over me until I joined the Magic Knights. My teachers and the more importantly the people I called Mom and Dad."

So here is a new little project I stated because I really wanted to, I LOVE Black Clover and this idea came to my head and I just had to write it! However, let me answer a few things.
1. This story will take place long before the main timeline of Black Clover and is a prequel to said timeline. Meaning the arcs and characters will be completely different.
2. Now with that being said I will include individuals from Black Clover who were around during that time, while using Naruto Characters to fill in the rest. However, you'll see that once we get to the point of Naruto becoming a magic knight.
3. So right now Naruto is 32 and Nozel is 14 and Noelle is about to be born soon. However, from this point on the entire story will be before this prologue and we won't get to this point in time till multiple arcs have passed. Which I have at least three or four major and original arcs drawn up in my head.
4. After all is said and done an the story I have in mind is finished. The question of will I go into the main timeline with Asta and the Black Bulls comes up. Uh maybe? I'm not sure yet. I'd like to, but I haven't made my mind up… I probably will tho…
5. Actual chapters will be much longer than this, as I normally don't write such short chapters. Though this is something new I've tried with a prologue, which is really just to set things up before I get things rolling and give everyone a glimpse into Naruto and Acier's future.
