Penny Royalty: Sequel to Eat the Roses

Yes, after much deliberation I have decided to write a sequel to ETR. Aren't you guys lucky? haha. Anyway, on with the story. Just to tell you, there wont be anymore ETR spin-offs after this. I'm tired of it. -_-

-_-_-_-_-_-

Sit and drink pennyroyal tea
I'm anaemic royalty
I'm on warm milk and laxatives
Cherry-flavoured antacids
--Penny Royalty, Manic Street Preachers or Nirvana's "Pennyroyal Tea" whatever.

-_-_-_-_-_-

Molly sat alone by her window looking out.

It was 3 years after Fi and Carey's death. After Molly had read the note Fi left her she felt an extreme guilt that hasn't left her.

Jack, of course was extremely affected by his sister's death. He had been the one who found her in the first place. He had to go through a year of therapy and was put on anti-depressants.

All that was left in the Phillips house was Molly and Jack. Annie came back for a while after Fi's death but she lost all interest in her singing career, as she obtained a job in a law firm for her Uncle's company.

Two years after Fi's death Jack was healthy again and went to college. Molly was told that he and Gabe were ingaged and were expecting to get married in about 6 months.

But only three months into their marriage Jack and Gabe got into a fatal car accident taking their lives as well as their un-born child.

Molly glanced out the window again as a car pulled up into her driveway. The small gleam of hope in her eye was quickly gone as she realized that the car was just turning around and heading off in the other direction it came from.

She was all alone and no one cared.

She brought her thin legs to her chest and let her chin rest on her knees.

Molly vaguely noticed that she had dropped a lot of weight. Last time she got on the scale she was a tiny 102 LBS. Her eyes lost any color they had and left a dull gray in it's place. Her skin was pale and sickly which made her look as if she was a walking corpse.

She had let herself go after the death of her only child left.

But she wasn't going to let herself die. Even though the thought seemed very tempting at many times.

Molly sat up and slowly walked to the kitchen where she made herself eat a rotting apple that was in her fruit bowl.

When was the last time she went shopping? She really couldn't remember.

She felt a sudden wave of courage as she reached for the closest phone. But felt the courage leave her. She looked down and felt herself close her eyes and fall to the ground.

Rick, Fi and Ned looked through the thick glass as Molly was injected with a tranquilizer. Her skitzophrenia had been getting worse lately and they weren't sure why.

Rick closed his eyes and looked painfully away from his wife in the plain white room.

"I'm sure she'll be better soon, Rick." Ned placed a caring hand on Rick's shoulder.

"But, how soon is soon, Ned. Molly's been in here for 18 years now."

-End

-_-_-_-_-_- Ah, yes. **dodges tomatoes** If you don't understand I'll explain it to you. When did Rick die? When Fi was two of course. When did Fi "Die" when she was 17. Add three years to that which would make it the present. 20 Right? How old was Fi when Rick Died? haha. Well, see in my mind, for this story anyway...

Rick never died that night but Molly thought he did. Which made her have a mental breakdown and develop skitzophrenia. After Rick recovered and admitted his poor, poor wife into a mental institution.

Hope this clears things up. Now, remember no flames. Cause, no one forced you to read it.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful reviews in ETR. This is dedicated to all of you.
