A/N: long time no see. We'll we've been sidetracked with a lot of other things. Still kinda are, but we're letting this be one of life's little pleasures. I guess that's what it is . anyway, enjoy
Apparently I didn't know anything. Well anything about Rai, anyways. That's not true though, I know he's friends with Seifer and says y'know a lot. Except to me he mostly says "ya don't know" which pisses me off a bit. I know he's dark skinned and has awesome eyes. Sure they were just brown eyes like you can see on almost anyone, but they were awesome. And no, I'm not going to explain it, I don't think I know how to anyways.
I knew he was muscular as shit, and his full name was Raijin after the Japanese mythological thunder god. Shush, I looked it up, okay. But I knew a lot about him. He just didn't know.
"Hey Rai," I greet walking into the sandlot and leaning against the wall beside him folding my arms behind my head. "What's up?"
"Waiting for Seifer and Fuu, y'know?" He answers.
"You guys are always together, aren't you?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"Ya don't know."
"Why don't you explain it then? Maybe then I'll know." I offer.
"Seifer and Fuu are dating, we're not together as much as we once were, y'know?" he answers.
"Oh, ok. That must suck," I make a face at nothing but the prospect of being left as a third wheel.
"Ya don't know," Rai says shaking his head.
"Why do you always say that to me, but only me?" I ask curiously.
"Ya just don't know a lotta things, Sora," he continues and pushes off the wall to walk away. Without even thinking I reach out and catch his arm. I didn't even know it happened until he turned and looked at me curiously.
"Then explain them, please." I figure if I was already playing the part of a love struck "I don't want to be rejected" girl I may as well add the pout and pleading. Not that I wanted to be playing a love struck girl with abandonment issues. But apparently it was the right part to play because three seconds later his lips were on mine. And one second after that, Seifer and Fuu walk into the Sandlot. Not that I knew because I was paying attention, I knew because they told me. I think they were internally laughing to. The jerks.
"Ya didn't know," Rai says again, pulling out of the kiss and his arm out of my hand, walking away. I reach for him again, and this time I barely catch his finger but he turns to face me still.
"But now I do." I give him my best pleading face and he laughs and pulls me with him towards his friends. Screw Riku and Kairi, I've got Rai.
A/N: ugh, sorry for the shortness, I just came up with two new charcs for a book and they're messing with me so I can't write anything but them all that well. Neways, review if you like it.
