Sadly, I don't own anything concerning the Legend of Zelda series, or Link. I do own Lily though. And I only came up with this because I can never get the carriage to Kakariko Village. Yeah, I know, I suck.
Link spurred Epona on for what must've been the millionth time. He'd just put out the fire on the wagon and drew out his bow. They were almost at Kakariko Village; all he had to take care of was the bird above them, and the two bulbins on their mount.
Without hesitation, Link shot down the bird. His mouth set into a line of determination, he turned to the two enemies just slightly ahead of him.
Just as he was about to fire, the archer shot an arrow at him; strangely enough, it was the first one that had landed on him and it was the only one that wasn't lit on fire.
Link winced in pain as the arrow embedded itself in his arm. Without waiting for another moment, Link released his arrow and sent the bulbins sprawling, exploding into the darkness.
Not wanting to make Telma and Ilia wait any longer, Link rode towards the final gate in front of Kakariko Village. The ride to his friends seemed to take forever. Everything seemed to swim before Link's eyes.
Once he'd finally reached the gate, he could barely tell up from down. What's wrong with me…? Link pushed the thought out of his mind. Jumping down from Epona, his legs nearly gave way beneath him.
"Hey honey! Are you alright down there?" Telma asked, looking with concern at the blue-eyed boy before her.
Link nodded and opened the gate. Barely able to get to Epona, Link shook his head in an effort to clear his mind; it only made things worse.
Before long, they finally reached Kakariko Village. Link was so out of it that he barely noticed he was there until he was surrounded by the youths.
"Link? Are you alright?" Colin looked up at him. "You've got an arrow sticking out of your arm."
Link looked down to the arm Colin had mentioned and reached over with his other hand to pull it out. Suddenly, the world spun quickly before him and he couldn't take any more. Darkness crept over him and he fell unconscious. The last thing he remembered was falling off of Epona.
Yeah, that's the only chapter I've got. Sorry. Please review and tell me what you think.
