So, this is my first ever fan fiction: Destiny Unfolded. I had to rewrite the whole because of the pathetic grammatical mistakes that I had made and I wanted to change a few incidences here and there. Why? Well because the story is, otherwise, becoming too big for me to complete! I hope you guys won't mind the changes.

Chapter One

The Wind and Thunder Master

Pop. Pop. Pop

The sky was temporarily painted with beautiful hues of red, yellow and green as the fireworks burst against the blue ebony background, dimming the twinkling stars. The marvellous sparkling colours reflected against the still lake behind the Hanabishi Residence, making it one of the most breath-taking views the Team Hokage had ever had the pleasure of experiencing. This was the day of celebration. The celebration of the much-deserved victory that the team had achieved together after undergoing the gruelling life-and-death experience in the USB. Everyone held their breath as Hanabishi lit up another row of the firework canons, shooting more of those beautiful fiery flowers to the sky.

"Wow!" exclaimed the small blonde puppet master, Ganko Morikawa, "So beautiful!" A wide smile spread across her face, as her eyes twinkled with happiness. "Ne, Yanagi-neechan!" She tugged the brunette teenager's hand, "Isn't it beautiful?" She chimed unable to hold her excitement.

The healer, smiled with affection, seeing the reaction of their youngest member, "Un, Ganko," Yanagi replied, "It is very beautiful indeed."

"Hey Recca", a hoarse loud voice came from the bank of the lake that was right below the slope the Hokage were sitting on, "Come and give me a hand with this!" yelled as he lifted another ball of firework to put it back into the bag with the other fireworks. Shigeo frowned as he finished closing the mouth of the bag with a rope, 'My son has become a complete lazy bum.' He shook his head hopelessly at the thought and called for Recca again, "Oye-"

"Sorry dad!" A high-pitched male voice interrupted Shigeo, "I have to stay here with my hime." Recca grinned as he pulled the brunette in front of him, earning a slight blush from Yanagi, "What if something happened to her, while I left her side? You wouldn't want this fridge boy to dig his Ensui through me, do you?" Recca's lame excuse for feeling lazy earned a major eye-roll from the entire team, except Yanagi and Shigeo, whose vein was popping.

"Atleast come up with a legit excuse, stupid sea-monkey." Tokiya spoke inanely, "Talk about being a lazy-bum and making your old father do all the hardwork," Tokiya continued as he got up from the grass with his hand inside his pockets.

'Sea-Monkey?' Irked, Recca retorted, "Then why don't you, the noble freezer boy, follow your own advice and go and help him?" Earning a glare from the resident ice-prince. Recca smirked, "Scared that you might get a mark on your pretty face?"

"Now, now, boys!" The immortal women interrupted their argument, "its okay. I shall go and help Shigeo-san. You guys rest here and enjoy. You all have earned it." She smiled and walked down the slope towards Shigeo, who was now wrapping up the canon and the fireworks, leaving behind a fuming Recca and Mikagami glaring at each other.

"Come on Recca, let's not fight today!" Yanagi pleaded as she grabbed Recca's hand, "We have won the USB and most importantly, all of us are safe and alive!" Recca's expression softened as he held Yanagi's hand gently. "You're right, hime."

Tokiya looked away from the couple as his bangs covered the expression on his face. Ganko ran in front of everybody by leaving Yanagi's hands, "Yanagi is right! We should be celebrating today."

"Yeah," Kaoru joined in with his Kougan Anki behind his head, "I, for one, am famished!" He grinned rubbing his belly.

"Let's wind up here and go eat." Domon patted Recca on his back, hard, with his goofy smile, "It is party time, man!" He jumped up with a fist pumping in the air.

"Oh" Kaoru and Ganko followed.

"Easy man!" Recca rubbed his back, frowning at Domon, "That hurt you know." "Aww, man up dude." Domon grinned, irking Recca, "Let's go help Shigeo-san and Kagerou-san and then go and eat."

"Yeah, yeah" Recca waved off Domon while dusting his back and walking towards his parents, "Here mom, let me take that off you."

"Thank you," Kagerou murmured as she handed over the bag filled with fireworks to Recca. Domon grabbed the two big canon and placed each on his shoulder, relieving Shigeo from their weight.

Kagerou smiled at the group, while rubbing Kaoru's head, "Well, Kaoru the hotpot is ready along with the BBQ chicken that Shigeo-san had kept on the grill. Let's all head home."

'BBQ chicken?' Domon, Recca and Kaoru's faces lit up and started making a dash for the house.

Just when Domon and Recca were about to make a dash for the house, Kagerou called them, "Oh and boys," Kagerou spoke politely but very firmly, "Do get the wood for the bonfire from the storage."

"Sure, mom" Recca saluted and ran off trying to race Domon to the storage, making Kagerou sigh. 'Those boys.' Shigeo stretched his arms up and grinned, "Well, always good to see kids with so much energy. Let's go." Everyone nodded and were about to start walking towards the house, when Ganko tugged Yanagi's hand.

"Anou…" She spoke, upon receiving a questioning look from the brunette, "Fuuko-neechan isn't here."

"What?" Yanagi turned around scanning the surroundings, "She was right here a while back," she spoke with a mild tone of surprise.

"Oh," Kaoru exclaimed while recalling his talk with the Fuujin master, "She did mention that she was going to call up her mom and went towards the forest." Kaoru pointed towards the dense forest towards their left, "But that was a while back."

"Oh" Yanagi had a hint of worry in her voice.

Tokiya shrugged, "Knowing that crazy monkey she must have dashed off to the house to hog the food all by herself after the call. We will find her there." He spoke assuredly to Yanagi. He hated to see Yanagi so worked up.

Kagerou smiled at Yanagi and replied, "Let's go home and see if she is here. If not, we can always call her over her phone, okay Yanagi?"

Everyone nodded and started walking towards the Hanabishi Residence.

'Where are you, Fuuko-nee?' Ganko pouted as she walked together with Yanagi towards the house.

The stars twinkled brightly in the sky as the gentle breeze blew through the forest, making the leaves rustle. A small smile crept on the face of our purple-haired Hokage female fighter as her tresses danced against the wind; there was a faint smell of jasmine in the air. The white flower petals flew across the Fuujin-wielder, who was sitting on a small boulder at the edge of the cliff. Fuuko always loved the wind. While, most people found a strong breeze annoying, she always found it relaxing. It was as if the wind was whispering to her something. If only she could decipher what. Fuuko closed her eyes and leaned a bit back while placing both her hands behind her back, on the rock, supporting her weight. She slowly opened her eyes as she looked down at the sea of trees below her. 'He is late' She mused as she tucked one of her legs beneath the other.

Fuuko suddenly turned around, "Raiha?" She called into the forest, upon hearing the soft sound of footsteps coming towards her. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw the tall blue-haired bishounen come out into the clearing, revealing his handsome feature under the faint moonlight.

She jumped off the boulder and ran towards him, "Raiha!" Her excitement to meet her saviour died when she saw Raiha look at her with a weird expression in his eyes.

'Pain…?' Fuuko stopped in front of the man, looking confused. "Wha-what's wrong, Raiha?"

"I am sorry for making you wait, Fuuko-san" Raiha smiled softly, "I hope you didn't wait too long."

Fuuko shook her head and smiled widely, "Nah, don't worry about it. I had a great view of the fireworks from here."

"I see, that's good then," Raiha spoke as his bangs covered his eyes, "So you guys are celebrating tonight."

"Duh! We won the USB!" Fuuko spoke proudly, "Yanagi is safe, Recca is happy and finally things can go back to normal." She grinned while showing a victory sign, "Though I am not really looking forward to the tonnes of homework our homeroom teacher dumped on us." She sweatdropped as she recalled her teacher's reaction when they came back after two weeks break.

"Kirisawa-san," Fuuko looked mildly surprised upon hearing Raiha calling her by her surname. But, what shocked her most was the sudden change of aura around him, as he started drawing out his blade from his back. "Rai-Raiha?" Fuuko stepped back confused.

Raiha's eyes were cold, "Normal? Aren't you naïve, Kirisawa-san." He spoke in a deadly cold voice, while stepping towards Fuuko. "Not only you come to meet an enemy in a secluded region, but you also come unarmed. It is almost like you have learnt nothing from your fights."

"Stop this Raiha." Fuuko spoke boldly, hiding her confusion. 'What the hell has got into him all of the sudden' Fuuko let out a small breathe and in a static voice she spoke, "You had asked me to come here. You said it was important. Besides, Raiha, you aren't my enemy. You are a frien-"

Fuuko was cut short as Raiha suddenly lunged towards her, swinging his blade that gleamed under the moonlight. She ducked down and jumped forward turning around to face Raiha, "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Raiha continued his assaults as Fuuko barely managed to dodge them. 'He is too fast. Even faster than Kurei!'

Fuuko flipped sideward, while grabbing Raiha's sword hand to pin him against the tree in front of them. However, Raiha disappeared and before Fuuko could even turn, she felt the cold sword touching her throat.

"You just died." Raiha whispered to Fuuko's ears, and removed the sword from her throat. Fuuko confused and a bit pissed turned around, only to see an apologetic look on Raiha's face.

"What the hell was that all about?" Fuuko was pissed. Not only with Raiha, but also with herself for being so easily overwhelmed by him. If only she had her Fuujin. Her brows puckered as she realized how much she had started depending on her psychic device, which was no longer usable.

Raiha sheathed his sword and looked Fuuko straight in the eyes, "I am sorry I had to do it this way, but it was a necessity." Raiha stepped towards Fuuko, "I know you and your team have won the UBS, but that doesn't mean the danger has passed. It never will Fuuko. As long as the psychic devices exists, as long as Sakoshita-san's powers exists and as long as people like Koran Mori exists."

"Koran Mori?" Fuuko exclaimed, confused, "I thought he had died. Kurei had killed him, right?"

Raiha shook his head in disagreement, "We don't know that yet. We just know that Master Kurei had chased him and next thing we found him unconscious. But, that is not important. You are weak without Fuujin, Fuuko."

Fuuko looked down, mildly irritated, "I can take care of myself, Rai-"

Raiha pulled Fuuko into an embrace, silencing a shocked Fuuko, "You are strong. I have no doubt. After all, you are the one I am fated to dual with. Our psychic devices, our fate is entwined Fuuko. But, I need you to get stronger. For your sake, for the sake of your friends and for us."

"I don't understand-"

Raiha stepped back and pulled Fuuko's hand, thrusting a cloth bag into her and, "This should help you. After all, you are the rightful owner of these." Raiha swiftly planted a kiss on Fuuko's forehead and walked away.

Fuuko snapped out of her daze as she turned around, "Raiha!"

"We shall meet again Fuuko. Please take care of yourself till then." Raiha turned around, giving Fuuko his warmest smile and then disappeared.

"Raiha," Fuuko whispered to the air, "What did you mean by that?" She opened the cotton bag that Raiha had given her, only to find an old scroll and the

"Fuujin's main orb!"

Fuuko took out the dull red orb out of the bag and held it against the moon, "So Raiha had it all along?"

Fuuko's train of thoughts was interrupted by the sound of her cell phone ringing in her pocket. 'Darn' Fuuko quickly put the orb inside the bag and took out her phone, 'I completely forgot about my phone.'

She picked up the call, "Moshi Moshi" Only to hear silence over the line.

"Hello? Yanagi?" Fuuko quickly peeked at the caller ID.

"Where are you Fuuko? Everyone have been so worried."

"Gomen, gomen Yanagi. I lost track of time. I am coming right away."

"What were you doi-"

"Ah sorry, Yanagi." Fuuko spoke abruptly, "Signal is weak here, can barely hear. I am on my way. See you in the house. Ja ne."

Fuuko sighed after hanging up. 'There is no way I can explain to them what just happen. Recca and Domon will over-react if they hear I was meeting Raiha.'

Fuuko stretched her hand up and started walking towards Recca's house, 'First things first. I will figure out the scroll and Fuujin's main orb, and then talk to these guys.'
