This was inspired by Sullen Kitty's Over the Edge. I really like the style of the piece, but not who she ended up with, so here's my adaptation. I greatly appreciate review, especially those with constructive criticism to offer. Thanks Lj.

Why had she been left with this choice? Why couldn't some other girl come and take one of them away so at least she stood some chance in making the choice between the pair. She'd known the two boys for almost five years now, and valued their friendship more than anything, however the actions of each of them were suggesting that they wanted more than her friendship.

This situation was the only reason she was sat in the library, one of her best friends on either side of her; and this in turn explained why Ron's hand had crept from his lap to her back and was now rubbing gentle circles on the tender and exposed skin, and on the other side of her Harry's hand rested gently on her lower thigh. This decision was torture for her, how could she be expected to choose between them? However at the same time she couldn't go on like this, wondering if they had even noticed each other's attraction or whether they were too busy trying to seduce her. All this, including their note passing and hushed conversations were driving her insane.

Ron looked up from his work, brushing her curls behind her ear and leaning closer than was truly necessary.

"Hermione, please just say yes, you know he's bad for you, he's just using you to try and get to Harry. I'm much better for you than that Krum idiot.

She shook her head and returned to her work, leaving a disheartened Ron gazing lustfully towards a sixth year raven clam sat at a table further down the room.

Ron's feeble attempt was soon forgotten as the figure to her left lifted his hand and slipped a scrap of parchment onto her lap. She lifted it and glanced over it, disgusted at his inability to let her make her own decisions.

"I don't believe you two! Do you not understand the concept of friendship, you know the bit that includes trust and freedom?" Hermione grabbed her parchment and book, overturning her chair as she stumbled over it and rushing towards the door. It had been difficult to choose between them at first but now they were simply immature. It was simple, she would speak to neither of them.

She felt a lone tear fall from her cheek onto her blouse as she turned a corner, only to be grabbed immediately by two pairs of strong hands which pulled her into an almost empty classroom.

"Oh Mione, It's such a shame to see all the hurt those little boys have caused you." She smiled and relaxed as she leant her head onto the chest of the boy stood before her.

"We're glad you chose us over them.

"Now you just have to choose between us. There was silence for a moment as a mischievous smile spread across her face.

"Can't I just have both?" She asked, taunting them as Fred's lips descended on hers, George's arm snaking around her slender waist while the other rested in her hair, Both boys stopped for a moment and looked down at the petite witch. "We can handle that."
