Saki's POV-
"MEL!" Theo screamed. "That hurt!"
Mel giggled. "Well, Theo, if I'm going to teach you magic I have to…access your current strengths!"
Theo smiled. I knew that Mel was just messing with him. Well, in other words, flirting
with him.
"Listen to me, Lucia."
"But Alph!"
"Come on, just let me talk!"
"Why should I?"
Alph and Lucia were fighting…again. What a surprise… Everyone knew that they liked each other anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. Leon was out shopping for a new sword. (He broke his while fighting thieves near Jeidath.) Cecille was…I didn't really care what Cecille was doing, I never really liked her anyway. Actually, I guess that's a lie. I liked her until I found out that she had been close friends with Leon ever since they were kids… I had to admit it. My crush on him had intensified…
"I don't get it!" Vivi complained. "I'm going to take a nap."
Mavi sighed. "Fine. Be that way…"
Mavi was (unsuccessfully) teaching Vivi about physical attacks, and Nikolai…well I didn't exactly know where Nikolai was…
"SAKI!"
I jumped. Then I realized that it was just Nikolai.
"What happened?" I asked, expecting it to be something about how beautiful one of 'his witches' looked today, or how gay he finally realized he was…
"It's about Leon and Cecille!"
I straightened up. He continued.
"They're DATING!"
I nearly fell down. Apparently, Nikolai was yelling pretty dang loudly, because Mavi rushed over to us.
"WHAT?" Mavi and I exclaimed at the same time.
I couldn't believe it. Apparently Mavi couldn't either.
"Oh, Come on, Nikolai! You liar! You have to do better than that to fool me!
Nikolai was getting fired up.
"Excuse ME, Mavi, but if you don't believe me, come see for yourself!"
Mavi shook her head.
"Aww, forget it! I really don't care…"
She walked away. My curiosity got the best of me. I turned to Nikolai.
"What did you mean by 'Come see for yourself'?"
Nikolai sighed. "Come on…"
He ran into the trees. I followed.
