I wrote this as I was trying to burn off steam as I remembered a very embarrassing memory concerning Mary-Sues and Legolas. It really really gives me a headache to think of it.

Hark! The cries in Int'rnet speech,
Wise men try to rant and preach,
"Spelling wrong and grammar bloody,"
Critique high and flames are flooding,
Legolas should not be blonde,
Cause his fangirls are too fond,
Of his frissy long gold hair,
Rant and shout I long to dare.
Why must we pick on this Elf,
Why not put him on the shelf,
Because of him there's Mary-Sue,
In category 382,
Movie-Legolas should die,
Then stupid fangirls will all fry,
No more blessings for this dude,
Aren't I good at being rude?
Mary-Sues 've been here too long,
Time to right and kill what's wrong.
