Hey It's me BabyJoker27

My first Elijah/Caroline story.

I do not own The Vampire Diaries. And I do not own Neil Diamonds song Sweet Caroline.

Also little bad mouth trashing Edward Cullen.

Enjoy!

In the little town of Mystic Falls she was drunk. She feels the sharp pain of the alcohol trickling down her throat. As she slams the glass loudly on the bar which results to causing a couple of faces to look up .She stares at them coldly you can see the shivers run down their spine. She asked the bartender for a another drink. He quickly replies no. But likely her powers of compulsion comes on handy. As the bartender is about to place down the drink in front off her someone had snatched it away from his hands.

"You had a enough to drink for one night" he tells her by passing the drink to the bartender.

"How would you know" she scowled at him.

"I've been watching you" he replied.

"What don't tell me your one of those stalker vampires that watch's someone go to asleep like Edward Cullen" she grunted.

He chuckled at the statement. "Don't you find me more charming than that sparkly freak" he smirked.

"Yes of course I do find a five hundred year old stalker vampire charming" she laughed.

"Well I also find Malibu Barbie also beautiful" he grinned.

"Do you think I find funny. Do see me laughing" she warned.

"Loosen up" he suggested.

" I would if I had a drink" she uttered.

"Well I guess I have to do my self" he said.

He leads her outside into the parking lot. He jiggled the keys to a car opens it and placed a CD inside of the track player. He takes her hand with his and wrapped a arm around her waist while she wrapped around his shoulder. Softly he began to sing

Where it began, I can't begin to know when

But then I know it's growing strong

Oh, wasn't the spring, whooo

And spring became the summer

Who'd believe you'd come along

He then gently swung her around.

Hands, touching hands, reaching out

Touching me, touching you

Oh, sweet Caroline

He twirled her around.

Good times never seem so good

I've been inclined to believe it never would

And now I, I look at the night, whooo

And it don't seem so lonely

We fill it up with only two, oh

And when I hurt

Hurting runs off my shoulder

How can I hurt when holding you He whispered the lyrics in her ear.

Oh, one, touching one, reaching out

Touching me, touching you

Oh, sweet Caroline

Good times never seem so good

Oh I've been inclined to believe it never would

Ohhh, sweet Caroline, good times never seem so good

The last lyric he sang softly to her.

"That was fun. We should do again" she asked.

"Same place same time" he exclaimed.

"You've got your self a date. What was your name again?" she questioned.

"Elijah" he grinned.

"Elijah well seems to me you already to know my name" she whispered.

He just smirked and takes off.

She thought to her self "this one of the best nights of my life I can't till tomorrow".
