OK... this is a SUPER short SK one shot I lost in my computer. I wrote it for fun and it's really short. But I hope you enjoy! :)

Stefan woke up with a jolt. What time was it? He couldn't tell, and that was very rare for him. He looked around, absolutely confused.

Something wasn't right…

Or too right.

Stefan looked frantically around, until he heard a slight intake of breath. He turned his head and was met with dazzling brown eyes. "Elena," he whispered, resting his forehead against hers. Stefan didn't exactly know why they were together like this all of the sudden, since they had broken up a few days ago. But there was something special about her tonight, something different. He grabbed her hand, holding it tightly.

"Shhh," she demanded, resting a cool finger on his lips. Stefan was trembling. He had never felt this way with Elena before. There was some sort of spark between the touch of her skin that wasn't there before. She looked at him with such desire, it made his heart swell.

She slowly removed her finger from his shaking lips, and Stefan immediately closed his eyes, lips parted. He waited for the spark between them to grow even stronger. But the meeting of their lips never came. Instead her soft voice echoed in his mind. "Stefan…"

"What, Elen…"

"Katherine," she corrected. Stefan's eyes opened wide. He had spent so long trying to avoid her, but now there was no specific reason to push her away. He had no excuses… well, that he wanted to use anyway. There was something special about being with her, something he had never felt with Elena. It was sending shockwaves through him.

He couldn't fight anymore. It was virtually impossible.

Katherine just looked at him solemnly. "We don't have much time, but just remember… I promised we'd be together again. I always keep my promises."

And with that, she kissed him. And he kissed back.

As soon as the kiss began, it was over, and Stefan opened his eyes.

He bolted up in his bed, sweating. It was only a dream. That was all it could be. Katherine was in the tomb.

But he could have sworn that he heard the clicking of heels down the hallway…

There's my one-shot! This is the shortest fanfiction I've ever written and I'm happy it wasn't completely lost! Please review and tell me what you thought!
