Okay, this is just a one shot about Bella's new powers, in my eyes, after she transforms.
New Powers
(Edward's P.O.V.)
Carlisle stepped into the room, holding a needle full of morphine. He turned his head towards me.
Don't worry about it, Alice had a vision and she'll do fine. You hunted? His thoughts filled my head.
I nodded my head and turned to the still figure of my perfect little angel resting lightly in my arms. I shook my arms lightly and she opened her eyes.
"It's time." I stated, all the emotions I was feeling laced in those two words.
She nodded and laid her head down on the pillow before Carlisle injected the morphine into her system.
You have to bit her once on the neck and once on each wrist. It should help faster, but it will hurt more so be careful. Carlisle's thoughts clouded my head.
Remind me to thank Jasper for helping with this later. I replied.
He nodded and I looked at Bella. I lowered my lips to hers and kissed her. I kissed her neck before sinking my venom-coated teeth to her skin. She didn't react until I had bitten her wrists as well. Once I pulled her onto my lap, Carlisle left, satisfied with the way it went.
"Ready, love?" I asked.
"Yes, oh Edward I always wanted this. Well not always, but since I met you and found out your secret."
Then the thrashing started. At first, she whimpered, but once the venom really entered her blood, it took everything I had and then some to keep her from thrashing out of control.
Am I doing the right thing? I thought.
For three days, I thought about how I made the mistake of changing my personal angel to a dangerous monster. But I couldn't change it now. It was too late, and I would have to suffer, of course, I thought I would until I heard Bella's heartbeat stop.
She woke up, luckily the lights were dimmed so she didn't get blinded by the light.
I took in every inch of her body; her curves were more pronounced, all her scars from past experiences gone, her pale white skin not much different than her unnaturally white skin before. Her hair was darker, the red in it much more evident. It looked like they became highlights to stay. She turned her eyes to me and I gasped despite myself. I was prepared to see her eyes change, but not this well. First, her eyes were blue, a beautiful sky blue, as she looked at me, afraid. Then, they turned butterscotch when her mood changed to happiness.
How do I look? Her voice filled my head.
I stopped immediately and looked at her.
"You just… I just heard your thoughts." I stated, the surprise evident in my voice.
She touched my cheek and I gasped audibly despite myself. I heard everyone's thoughts, from the moment they were born to this moment. She could enhance a natural power to a vampire to extraordinary lengths. Now to make sure the Volturi never laid a finger on her.
Carlisle burst in the door, and looked at me.
"I just heard Bella's thoughts. And then when she touched me, I heard the thoughts everyone has ever had."
Carlisle stared dumb-founded at me. Evidently, he was even more shocked than I was.
Oh yay, Bella can enhance powers, wait is that a good thing?
