"Kurotsuchi-Taicho, is this information true?" Was heard from the Soutaicho.
"It's as real as the moniters in front of me, gather the others". The 12th taicho said.
All through out the city, alarms were sounding, as the nine remaining captains proceeded to the meeting hall.
"We will forgo the usual roll call. All i will say is a short time ago, squad twelve received overlapping alerts from all shinigami currently on hollow purging duty". The Soutaicho began.
"Huh, i dont like where this is going already". came from Kyoraku.
"Oh, you havent begun to have problems with what is happening, because the meaning behind this is an earthquake". The Soutaicho answered.
"Just another tremor is causing that many calls back?". asked Komamura.
"This one has, as it has the entire Pacific tossing about. It was felt from Sendai, all the way to the Americas, both of them. This is an 8.9 on the Richter scale." Kurotsuchi explained.
"8.9?. It cant be. How horrible." was heard among the voices of the captains.
"So, how many of us are to be sent for Konso duty, Genryusai-sensei" Ukitake asked for the group.
"I have already decided on a city wide deployment, with only a skeleton crew to oversee the seireitei. Now get your squads ready, go". Yamamoto declared, as he lead the way out of the meeting room.
