If she hadn't pushed him up against the wall to tell him off, if he hadn't sneered so meanly at him, if she hadn't leaned close to him to threaten him so boldly, and if he hadn't slid a foot behind her ankle, then they wouldn't have been kissing each other so plainly in the halls of his school.

If he hadn't slid his hand to her face, if she hadn't nipped his lip, if he hadn't held her so closely, and if she hadn't moaned against his lips, they wouldn't have been noticed by one of the head teachers and scolded for 'public displays of affection'.

If she hadn't rolled her eyes, if he hadn't shrugged it off, if she hadn't ignored Umino-san, and if he hadn't yawned during his lecture, they probably wouldn't have been told to leave the premises immediately.

If he hadn't crossed his arms, if she hadn't tackled his shoulders, if he hadn't tripped over one of his feet, and if she hadn't held so tightly to his hair and clothes, they wouldn't have been lying in the dirt and he probably wouldn't have ended up with a mouth-full of mud.

If she hadn't laughed so hard, if he hadn't glared at her, if she hadn't held her sides to keep from laughing, and if he hadn't leaned so close, they wouldn't have shared a mouthful of dirt and they probably wouldn't have clung to one another so desperately.

And, everyone knows, if he hadn't gazed into her golden eyes and challenged her so smoothly, if she hadn't stared at his chestnut eyes and argued so convincingly, Temari and Shikamaru wouldn't have been on the verge of ravishing each other in the middle of the playground of the soon-to-be genin's academy.

This is for Miss Rohain Tahquil. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure a way to incorporate an opal into this, but I did do the best that I could using what she had given me. My hope is that this is acceptable enough. Thank you so much for asking for me to write this for you.
