Chapter One
Prologue
Moments before the tragedy that embarked the events of "Stafox Assault" Team Starfox found themselves on a patrol of Sector X. Fox knows what he has to do, and keeping the secret safe from Krystal over the past weeks had been very difficult to do. Krystal can no longer be a part of StarFox, and for her own safety, she must leave the team.
This final patrol with Starfox will be her last… but not because of what Fox must do… Krystal didn't survive the flight. She never came back from the patrol. But she doesn't know that… not yet.

This story is going to be very different for me to write compared to "Rogue Fox" or "Echo Halo." This idea and inspiration from this story came from a dream I had a week or two ago while aching to listen to the song "Hell is...". As "Rogue Fox" is, this is a story that is completely original and different from anything else on the archive.
