Little Girls
Edward smiled as he walked in the door. He, Carlisle, Emmett, and Jasper had just come back from a three day long hunting trip in Canada and Alaska. It was a male bonding experience and victory celebration. Edward smiled at Bella as she leaned on the kitchen counter and flipping through a magazine and watching Renesme color at the table.
"Hello beautiful" Edward said as he kissed the side of Bella's neck
"Hello husband" Bella replied
"Hey princess" Edward greeted Renesme
He frowned as he watched his daughter turn away from his kiss and run up the stairs to her room. He walked back over to Bella and leaned on the counter opposite her.
"What was that?" Edward asked
"She's not a princess today" Bella replied
"Then what is she?"
"You mean you don't know?"
"She was thinking of colors when I walked in and dolls as she ran out"
"She's a dragonfly fairy queen"
"Should I go make amends?"
"Let her be for awhile. Then go talk to her. She has a temper"
"She gets that from you"
"Shut up and kiss me before you dig yourself a deeper hole"
Edward laughed as he kissed Bella softly and walked into the living room and sat on the couch with her.
