Hertz Canon
My name is Hertz I've always been kind of nerdy, always reading books trying to get smarter. On the inside however I've always wanted to be more I see some of the girls that walk around the district with their pretty hair and pretty face and large racks all I've ever wanted was to be them walk in their shoes for a day.
Age 7: I remember it like it was yesterday everyone was in the schoolyard. We were going to play some game on teams. of course I'm not picked but I don't care I like lying low and just watching ,so I sit out but later I go home and cry. Social rejection was not uncommon at this point.
Age 14: I can't remember why it's a good thing but I finally got my period. It hurt really bad but now I feel like a woman. If only my boobs would cooperate. I'm the smallest girl in District 3 Billy the guy I like told me If it wasn't for my hair he would think I was a guy. I cried about it and that crazy kid Sizzle tried to cheer me up but nothing could be done. I hate myself so much I just don't know how to get out of it.
Age 15: Some of the girls in my grade at school have boyfriends but no guy but Sizzle has ever shown interest in me. I just want to be loved by a guy who will be sweet to me. I want a normal guy with pretty eyes and strong arms to hold me in. He also should know the entire algorithm for electricity by heart that how you can tell the good factory workers. I just don't think there's a guy in this world much less this district for me.
