Death the Kid wanted nothing more than for the world to be symmetrical, however he knew that was impossible, however there was one thing he wanted that he could obtain. Eternal Bonds. Ever since his father, Lord Death, had used the power of Eibon to make Death City mobile, Kid had been looking for a way to make his wish come true.
Growing up with weapons right by his side was hard enough and he hated when they were out of his site. However, the thought of the future terrified him, Reapers live for thousands of years, humans only live for about one hundred and that's if there lucky. Plus, he would always be in his prime, humans reach theirs in their thirties. He couldn't imagine a future without his closest friends, as well as Maka, Soul, Black Star, and Tsubaki. He grew up with the six of them and he wanted to live and die with the six of them.
Ever since Asura had been defeated and peace was restored, Kid had spent hours on end researching ways to grant his wish for his friends. He had finally found what might be a break in his investigations and he wanted to check it out. However, he couldn't do it alone, and he couldn't turn to his weapons, they wouldn't want him to do this. So he turned to his best friend, Soul. Soul was the only other one who knew about this, he discovered Kid's research at Gallows one day when Kid was late for basketball and Souk went to go find him. At first Soul thought Kid was crazy and selfish for wanting make all of them immortal and only them, after Kid convinced Soul that he'd be able to live with Maka forever, Soul was happy to stay quiet and help. Kid knew Soul's weakness, everyone did. Soul and Maka had lived together for four, going on five years. They were now nearly seventeen and Soul was still as hopelessly in love with her as the day they met. Of course, he never tell anyone, but he didn't have to, everyone knew. Maka was the same way, except her love was as obvious, but it was still just as strong. How they lived together for so long and not realized was beyond Kid. How Maka had not picked on Soul's feeling with her soul perception was also a mystery, but she was just as oblivious as Soul.
So Kid called Soul and told him to meet him at Gallows when all the girls went out the mall. Kid specifically stressed that Soul was to come alone, Kid didn't that blue haired maniac around to spill the secret yet. When Kid heard a knock on his door an hour later, he was about to get up to answer it, when it was promptly knocked down, follow by a loud and annoying, ''YAHOO!"
"Damn it Soul," was all Kid could muster.

That's a good first chapter I guess. I got this idea the other day and I figured I'd write my first story.
This will be multiple chapters and will turn out somewhat long. Here's to a good ride.
Until next time, -B
