Hey, peeps of the world! This is a little one-shot idea that I had a few years ago but am just now getting the guts to actually write it. This would have happened (in my head) if Donna hadn't shown up at the end of Doomsday. I don't know what else to say right now, so on with the story! I'm in an angsty mood right now, so bear with me. :/

"I love you."

"I love you."

"I love you."

Her words rang in his ears as his mind went through what had just happened.

The magnets, the lever, the different dimensions, it was all too much for him to take.

He never wanted Rose to go to the other universe, but he supposed it would be better, in her case, than going into the void. To him there wasn't a difference other than the fact that he knew she was still breathing.

"I love you."

Why hadn't he told her the same? Why did he just say those stupid four words as a response right away? He would have had time if he'd told her then, not when he did. No, not did, more like tried to. Now it was too late, and She was gone for good.

As he thought about this, he leant on the console for support, his tears running down his face; staining his shirt. He ran his hand over his face to clear off his dried marks of grief, and he pushed himself off of his support and down the long hallway. He found himself outside of a room. Her room. He felt a new wave of depression smash over his heart, and he felt empty. His emotion of happiness and his soul was left behind with Rose. He was having a mental war with himself while deciding whether to go in or not. As he reached for the door handle, he froze, then whipped open the object obstructing his view of her room. Pink. Everything pink. At first sight, most would think this a child's room, but those who knew her would know better. He cautiously stepped inside, and let go of his grip on the doorknob. He walked around, fingers skimming the frames of her pictures. His hand brushed against her duvet, then her pillow, and he tensed. Every memory of her flooded his mind, and as they cleared he fell to his knees in hysterics. One hand gripped the fluffy carpet as the other held onto a pink jacket that had been discarded on the floor. The carpet under the Doctor's face soon became soaked with tears as he cried. His vision went slightly purple from his lack of breathing, then almost went black. He tried to stand up, but the darkness was winning him over and he collapsed onto her bed. As his consciousness was leaving him, he whispered in shuddering breaths

"Rose Tyler, wherever you are, I love you."

And his vision went dark.

In a parallel universe, Rose Tyler shot up in her bed, panting, because she could have sworn she'd heard the Doctor's voice. It was telling her he loved her.

Did I make you cry? GOOD! TELL ME WHAT I DID SO I CAN DO IT SOME MORE! R&R please!

Love, Pineapple-Sorceress
