"You coming?" Brian asked Meredith as she dawdled behind after rehearsal one day. He could've left without her, but it just didn't seem right.

"Oh yeah!" She said quickly, snapping out of the daydream she had been in. She walked out to the front door with him, only to find that it was pouring rain.

"Want me to go get your car for-" Brian started before he was pulled outside in to the pouring rain.

"No! I wanna play in the rain!" She giggled and twirled.

"Meredith I-"

"Loosen up Brian! Do something fun and spontaneous for once!" She yelled over the rain. Before he could say another word he was pulled out farther in the street.

Meredith giggled as she danced around wildly in the rain. She twirled around, skillfully avoiding traffic, spun around street lights, and soon enough, she got Brian doing the same. The two jumped in puddles, and danced with each other. It felt so good to him to be this close to her, and just to be carefree. It was something she was always able to make him be, happier.

Meredith jumped in a puddle again, her footing off, and she started to fall. Luckily Brian was right there next to her and caught her before the results got disasters.

He held her in his arms and stared in to her eyes, getting lost in the chocolate brown. His eyes flickered down to her lips, they looked so inviting. He dipped his head in, and lips met lips.

He Stood there in the rain kissing the woman he'd loved for so long and she was kissing him back, life couldn't be better. It felt amazing the kiss. It felt like fireworks on the forth of July. But better than that.

Her lips seemed to be made to fit his. There was that spark that he just couldn't ignore. Finally it had ended. The perfect kiss was ended, but the perfect girl looked.. Happy. No. Thrilled.

"Wow," She said softly and grinned at him.

"Finally," He smiled triumphantly, then kissed her wet lips again, getting the same firework feelings.
