Or story starts with Betty and Henry in Tucson. Henry had asked Betty to be there for the birth of his son and Betty was more than Happy to be there for the man she loved on one of the most important days of his life.
Tonight was the there last night together. The last night for Betty in Tucson, she was heading home the next afternoon ... She was trying not to think about the heart ache that awaited her tomorrow she just tryed to keep her mind on her very last night with Henry.
Betty and Henry walked outside one arm around each other. Henry with the blanket in his hand and Betty with wine and 2 glasses in the other. Henry laid down the blanket and Betty poured the wine. They wanted to spend there last night under the stars. Betty had never seen a sky so clear and filled with so many stars. They were also excited to see they eclipse tonight.
Both holding up there glasses...
Henry: To Us.
Betty smiled at Henry looking deep into her eyes.
Betty: (takes a sip of the wine ... then smiles at Henry) I love you.
Henry: I love you too.
Henry took Betty in a sweet and sensual kiss. They both pulled away and slid into each others arms and laid on the blanket. They laid in each others arm just feeling every emotion that they could ... both holding back tears of happiness and sadness.
Betty was staring up at the star her mind was at ease. But Henry could not keep his eyes of the woman he couldn't imagine his life without.
Betty: This is so beautiful
Henry: Yes it is
Betty looked over at him and noticed he was looking at her. she felt her face tuning bright red when he sank into her for another kiss.
Henry: Betty ...
Betty: humm?
Henry: I have to ask you something
She watched him staring to sit up, her heart was pounding she sat up as well. She noticed Henry digging in his pocket for something. She saw a red velvet box appear out of pocket. She was feeling tears coming to her eyes.
Henry: Betty .. ( clears his throat ... holding back tears ) you mean the world to me, I cant imagine my life with out you in it and I would never forgive myself if I let you go. Betty Suarez will you marry me?
Henry opened the box reveling the most beautiful ring Betty had ever seen in her life. He noticed a tear travel down her cheek.
Henry: ( stumbling through his words and talking very fast ) I ... I know that there are a lot of things that we have to work out and ... and...
Betty: Yes ...
Henry: I know we... ( takes in what she has said ) What?
Betty: Yes Henry Yes. ( there was no other thought in her mind she just knew it was right )
Both now in tears of happiness. Henry pulled Her in to his body and a very passionate kiss. They pulled away both with the biggest smiles on there faces. laughing and smiling just feeling the joy of the most beautiful moment.
Henry slowly slipped they ring onto Betty's finger. He couldn't believe it she was going to be his wife.
The rest of the night was spent watching the eclipse looking at the sky in each others mind. Both with no doubt that this was not their last night.
