A very small one-shot that occupied my mind at 3 am. I was unfortunately attacked by vicious plot bunnies. There is actually a companion piece to this about Near, Matt, and Mello that honestly has nothing to do with this, but is almost like it. But it's not done yet. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Relapse in Hogwarts

Summary: When Draco Malfoy woke up that morning, he finally remembered. He used to be Light Yagami. Short plot bunny attack.

When I woke up that morning, everything changed. Because I finally remembered. I was Light Yagami. Fuck. This means I lost. And I don't have my death note anymore! GAH! Now I can't even do anything about Potter or even the Dark Lord! I'm a follower now. I hung my head as I walked towards the great hall. How much lower could I get?

There was some upsides, I will admit. I have a rich family. And no annoying little sisters. No offense to Sayu or anything, but being an only child is fabulous. And I respected my parents. They weren't quite at my level, but I still respected them. They were only trying to make the world better in their own way. And now with my memories back, I can finally beat that mud blood Granger! But the best part of all.

I'm a wizard. I cringed as I thought back to my past life. How on earth could I have ever been a muggle! How horrible.

I pushed the doors to the great hall open and prepared to stride inside, ready to show off myself along with my new memory when…

…I saw him.

Potter.

But Oh God. What the hell was he doing! I thought in absolute terror.

Potter was sitting in his usual spot at the Gryffindork table with the Weasel and the mud blood. But that's not what caught my eye. No, what caught my eye was how he was sitting. He had his knees drawn up to his chest, almost squatting down on the bench at the table. Oh fuck the memories that brought on.

Without fully thinking it through, I stomped over to him glaring the whole way. The entire hall suddenly became silent as I stood before him, furious at the fact that close up, I could see him holding onto a spoon with only a forefinger and a thumb. He glanced up at me and glared right back opening his mouth to, I assume, shout at me for interrupting him.

I beat him to it.

"Potter! Why the hell are you sitting like that!" I growled out at the brunet sitting down in front of me. His glare faded as he turned away slightly before he answered.

"Not that it's any of your business Malfoy, but my deductive skills are greatly increased with me sitting in this manner."

OH MY GOD! I felt pure horror running through me as I slowly backed away. I barely noticed the odd looks until Potter turned back to face me with confusion etched across his face. As he opened his mouth, I exploded.

"SON OF A BITCH! It's like a fucking nightmare! You've come back from the dead to haunt me, haven't you! I didn't suffer enough after I killed you and this is my punishment, isn't it?" I shouted as Potter stood up with a shocked look.

"L-light?" Oh God. I grabbed a hold of my (now blond) hair and quickly realized my position. I was Draco Malfoy. I needed to get a grip. But as I starred into those green eyes, knowing they were the wrong color, I couldn't help but gasp.

I really was him.

"Fuck. L?" At this Harry's eyes narrowed towards me. I knew that look. From both lives. Harry wasn't convinced.

"What is my favorite food?" I could literally feel a sweat drop coming on. Of course…out of all the things to ask…

"Strawberry Cake." I answered almost automatically. Of course I knew. I spent months handcuffed to this man. There wasn't much I didn't know about him. His eyes widened again and suddenly he broke out into a large grin. I didn't get it until he spoke. Then I couldn't help but return the grin.

"Well it seems I was wrong. Even in another life, we are still destined to be rivals."
