It was as if she never left.
Katherine had recently moved back to the delicate area of Mystic Falls, 6 months to be precise. And now was living in the cherishing household of Bonnie and her grandmother. After being told, her own and this family were very close, for a very long time now, and so it seemed logical to stay here. Katherine was surprised to see that she wasn't easily recognized by Bonnie's grandmother as they had, had an encounter, not so long ago in the damp forest nearby besides the church, passing down so many sweet memories. Resulting for her mouth to curl up into a slight, mischievous smirk, her signature smile. The thought of it made her giggle devilishly. She had returned, to run an errand you would so call it?
It was now midday, Latherine was slumped across a marble desk in the chemistry room of some random high school Bonnie attended, and of which she too, decided to join. Her frame perched in a sloppy manner on the wooden stool as if she had been placed there, like a little girl cautiously setting her favourite doll down. Her hazel - alluring orbs shot through the double glazed windows, which were huge onto the football field, and there onto the forest. So much for good eyesight.
Scanning the breadth and depth of the scene ahead of her the grass glistened with vapour hanging off of it as the sun reflected across the whole scene. The trees, still the same since she last saw them, since she last liv- No! She wasn't to think of her past now, the memories, the emotions she wouldn't let them tug her back like the branches clinging onto the stubborn leaves of the masculine - like trees. She was now an independent woman. Or so she seemed it. The perfect mask, she would say.
A pang of a sweet, hypnotising and yet familiar scent submerged within her petite body, casting over her making her feel pure ecstasy giving her an adrenaline rush even if it made her feel light headed. Being what she was, she traced it instantly at such ease, as her eyes fixed on her prize, she liked that thought of that. Human, blond, blue eyes, well- built. Perfect, she knew she shouldn't, but a little fun was no harm right? Her eyes absorbed the beautiful male on the field, wearing his football kit, laughing about with his team mates, Matt? Was it? That wouldn't matter later. Turning those innocent eyes a dark black colour with a hint of red. Deadly. They turned even darker, realising this was her ideal fantasy, he was wearing the right colour too, RED. The colour that symbolized so many beautiful things, love, roses, anger and blood.
Oh how this made her shudder with pure glee and excitement, the thought making her inaudible. She batted her firm eyelashes dexterously lifting her head rapidly and rested it on her right palm with her arm standing straight supporting her sharp face.
Squinting her almond like detectors she locked eyes with the vulnerable human and quickly looking away as their gazes met, destructing the enforced power she had on the feeble blood bank. Her eyes embedding now, and burning through the marble surface she rested her strong arms upon, eyes lit up into awe as her sly tongue exited her plump boisterous lips tracing them elegantly, giggling with definite humour. And one of her sharp pearly whites, bearing and glistening, ready, ready to make her graceful move, piecing together the final pieces of her complicated jigsaw, the perfect answer.
