I took some liberties with this. Which is just another way of saying I have RLS - research laziness syndrome. If I had all the time in the world I'd love to surf all those websites, rewatch all the relevant eps and read each and every transcript. With the time I do have I'd lose momentum quicker than you can say 'new story'. So some of this might be out of time line, some might never have happened, but hey. They're mine to do with as I please. Oh no wait they're not. I just realized I also have disclaimer laziness syndrome. Anyway. I still do with them as I please.

I should never have taken that star. 'Colonel O'Neill' sounded just fine. I'd gotten used to it. Just accepted that damn star because if I hadn't who knows what jerk we would have gotten. Someone like Bauer probably. I really didn't want my base in the hands of some cold hearted arrogant idiot. Nor my people. Nor the fate of the universe. God help me.
And look what it got me. That first star got a brother in a ridiculously short time, and here I am. Alone in D.C., the last place on earth I wanna be.
