Dino paced the small cabin from end to end like a caged animal. The sound of the rain hitting the structure's roof was beginning to get to him. It had been raining for days, maybe even weeks, but it was a rain forest after all. He stopped at the window and stared out at the mass of wet, green foliage.

"It's still rainin' mate," Terry said absently from his spot at the table, papers and maps spread out in front of him.

Dino pursed his lips. "No shit, Sherlock. What was your first clue?" he sniped back.

Yeah, the weather was definitely getting on his nerves. Terry could sit in front of a pile of papers and strategize all day but not Dino. He was a man of action and being stuck in this little wooden box of a cabin for a week straight was making him itchy. They were supposed to be hunting down some smugglers who had kidnapped an anthropologist two weeks ago but the constant rain had washed away any trail they could follow and made searching next to impossible.

Dino sighed and scratched at the back of his neck as he wandered over to the table where Terry was sitting. He took up a position behind him and leaned over his shoulder pretending to be interested in what he was scribbling on the notepad.

"Do you have to do that?" Terry asked in a slightly annoyed tone.

Dino raised an eyebrow. "Do what?" he replied innocently as he stole a glance at his partner's face.

Terry smirked, knowing exactly where this was heading. But he had work to do and this time Dino's libido would have to wait. He was on the trail of their smugglers and did not want to be distracted. He stood up and turned on the smaller man.

At first he pulled him close and into a fierce kiss meant to distract him. Then he began backing the redhead up as their tongues dueled. In one swift movement he opened the door of the cabin and pushed Dino outside into the rain. Dino just stood there momentarily stunned.

But before he could protest, Terry said, "Take a cold shower, mate. I've got work to do." And he closed the door.

Dino was soaked to the bone in seconds. "It's ninety fucking degrees out here," he yelled.

"Then take a hot shower," Terry shot back as he casually wandered over to the table and sat down.

"I swear," Dino yelled from the front of the cabin, "you are so sleeping on the couch tonight."

Terry just smirked and returned to his work trying to ignore his lover's ranting. After all it was Dino's own fault for being a smart ass and he knew this was just the sort of thing to get the redhead all worked up for later on. He wouldn't be sleeping on the couch.
