Thanksgiving Surprise
Nineteen year old Chloe Calls was in her room talking on her cell phone with her boyfriend Roger Stapleman. Roger was currently on a trip with his parents, brother, and sisters.
"How's the trip going?" Chloe asked.
"Going great and I'm going to have a surprise for you," Roger replied.
"Looking forward to it."
"Glad to hear."
"I'd better help Mikey with the cooking."
"No problem."
"Love you, Roger."
"Love you, Chloe."
Chloe hung up after Roger did. Then she headed for the kitchen.
Twenty-six year old Mikey was in the kitchen setting up for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Just then, Chloe entered the room, put on an apron, and washed her hands.
"Ready to cook?" Mikey asked cheerfully.
"As ready as I can be," Chloe replied with a smile.
"How's Roger?"
"He's having fun on his vacation."
"Great."
"Let's get cooking."
Mikey and Chloe wrapped their arms around each other and then pulled away. Then they started preparing Thanksgiving dinner.
Donny, Raph, and Leo were hanging out in the living room. A martial arts movie was playing on the TV.
"Glad to have the day off from training," Donny said gratefully.
"Luckily, we get to see this amazing film," Leo said with a smile.
"I agree since I'm not in the mood to watch football," Raph said.
Just then, the doorbell rang. Donny excused himself, left the room, and opened the door once he saw that Roger was on the other side.
"I thought you were on vacation with your family," Donny said with surprise.
"I asked them to drop me off here since I wanted to surprise Chloe," Roger said.
"She's cooking with Mikey right now but you're welcome to join Leo, Raph, and I in watching a martial arts movie."
"Sounds good to me."
Later, the turtles and Chloe were sitting at the table in the dining room and Roger was sitting in the living room. There was turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, succotash, black olives, rolls, and sparkling cider.
"Chloe, I need to talk to you in the living room," Donny said.
"Sure," Chloe agreed and then she and Donny stood up and headed for the living room. When they got there, Chloe froze in amazement.
"Surprise," Roger said. Donny excused himself and headed back to the dining room.
"I didn't expect to see you this soon," Chloe said.
"I wanted to spend Thanksgiving with you," Roger said.
Chloe and Roger wrapped their arms around each other and kissed on the lips. Then they released each other.
"Time to feast on Thanksgiving dinner," Chloe declared.
"You said it," Roger said and then he and Chloe headed for the dining room holding hands.
Once Roger and Chloe sat back down, the food got passed around. Then the turtles, Chloe, and Roger happily chatted while they ate.
Later, the turtles, Chloe, and Roger were in the living room. Roger checked the time and stood up.
"You going already?" Raph asked.
"I am but I enjoyed myself," Roger replied.
"There's leftovers if you want to take some home," Leo offered.
"Which I'll pack for you," Mikey chimed in.
"I'll see what I want," Roger said.
"Hope you had a good Thanksgiving," Donny said.
"I did and same to you," Roger said as he and Donny wrapped their arms around each other and then pulled away.
"I'm thankful to have you as a boyfriend," Chloe said as she and Roger wrapped their arms around each other.
"I'm thankful to have you as a girlfriend," Roger said and then he and Chloe kissed on the lips and pulled away.
Mikey left the room and Roger followed. After Roger got what he wanted, he thanked Mikey and headed out the door.
Mikey joined his brothers and Chloe in the living room and they chatted for a while. Eventually, they went about their own activities.
