'You alright Leah?' I sighed, aggravated, as Jacob entered my thoughts once again.

'Um, yeah sure.' I responded dazed. Seth was missing again. Not that it wasn▓t unusual, but usually he would appear again by now. I was worried about my brother.

'Well... Your thoughts are telling me otherwise┘' I scowled. I desperately wished that he would just stay out of my head right now. Now was not the time to have a teenage werewolf reading my mind.

'Screw what my thoughts are telling you. Get out of my head!' I struggled phasing. It was a lot harder to concentrate when I was stressing about Seth. Eventually I was able to concentrate just enough to quickly phase back, only to find myself pacing in the middle of the woods, the only change was me now being in human form. I laid down on the wet ground, growing tired from pacing. I wasn▓t used to being out of my wolf form lately. Both Jacob and I stayed in wolf form as much as we could, hoping to hear Seth▓s thoughts once more.

I heard Jacob walking up behind me, but didn't bother moving. Hopefully if I didn't respond he would just go away and I would be able to get some sleep. Instead,Jacob came over and sat down next to me. I look up at the large wolf sitting next to me. "Can I help you?" I asked, slight aggravation in my voice. If I'd wanted to be near him, I would have stayed in wolf form. But no, he doesn't trust me enough for me to be able to be alone. He thinks that one of these days I am going to hurt myself from stress. At this point thought, I can't quite deny his assumptions.

"Your not going to go away are you?" I asked. I knew Jacob was just trying to be nice, but I was getting sick of him following me around. He let out a little whimper beside me. "I promise I'm smart enough not to get lost, or something." I said. I knew it wasn't the whole truth, but there was a possibility that it would get him off my back for a while. He whimpered again and started pawing my arm. I snapped my head up to look at him. "What?" I demanded. It was obvious now that he wouldn't go away.

"Stay here. I'll be right back alright?" I said, aggravation evident in my voice. He nodded his head slightly, and backed away from me. I stood up, brushed myself off, and walked a few feet into the trees. I phased, and quickly channeled into Jacob's thoughts. Only this time, Seth's thoughts were back too. 'I'm so sorry Leah. I got lost in the forest after I phased when I was patrolling, and was really stupid and--.' Seth continued apologizing, and I let out a whimper of relief. 'I'll be near you in a few seconds. Oww!' I felt Seth ram into my side, out of the trees. 'I told you he would come back Leah.' I sighed at the smugness in Jacob's thoughts. But he had been right. And Seth was back... for this week that is.
