This is my first Prince of Tennis fanfic, so please review and give any suggestions you may have. I really like RyoXSaku because it's that sweet middle school puppy love. The first love is always the best right? Please enjoy

As the school bell rang shrill as ever, Sakuno snapped awake from her daydreaming daze. She gathered her books, said good
bye to a few classmates, and left the classroom. She walked up to her best friend, Tomo-chan, and they sighed in relief of
the weekend. Tomo-chan wanted to check out a cute coffee shop after school, so Sakuno agreed. As they walked from
school, Tomo-chan would go on and on about everything and anything, while Sakuno was a good listener. They came across
a pink shop that stood out with its frills and ribbons. While it wasn't overly girly, the shop still maintained a feminine
atmosphere. As they walked in, a small tinkle of bells announced their presence. An older teenager walked up to them and
said in a bubbly voice,"Hiya, what can I getcha today?" while leading them to their table. As Sakuno scanned the menu,
Tomoka immediately ordered a hot chocolate and chocolate-covered strawberries. Sakuno wasn't as decisive but decided to
go with strawberry pudding and hot chocolate. When their order came, Tomoka immediately devoured her strawberries.
Tomoka was usually lady-like when it came to food. Sakuno was curious and asked her friend,
"Tomo-chan, what's the matter? Is something bothering you?"
"Have you ever been in love Sakuno? Well, I really like this guy you see. But he's just not getting it. I can't help it. The more I think of how come I shouldn't be liking him, I end up liking him more."
"Tomo-chan, don't you like Ryoma-kun?"
"Sakuno, I will always be his fan because he's so cool! But, come on, he's never looked at a girl even once. I admire his sports skill, but a girl needs her love."
"Oh, I see. I'm sure you're gonna win his heart Tomo-chan. Good luck,"
"Sakuno, I just wanna forget about it, it's the weekend afterall."
"Okay Tomo-chan, lets talk about something else."
The two avoided any conversation concerning boys, and after a good chat, they paid their bill, and parted ways. As Sakuno
walked home, she couldn't help, but think of her own love life. Her own non-existent love life that is. Stupid Ryoma-kun. Why
did she have to fall for him? His stupid arrogance, his stupids tennis skills, his stupid soft hair, his stupid golden cat eyes…
Argh, this was not good. Sakuno shook her head, twin braids flying in the air. She was better than this. It was just a
schoolgirl crush right? She would get over it. Ryoma was just Ryoma….kun. Why of all the guys she could have fallen for, she
fell for a emotionless block of ice. She had made him bentos, greeted him, cheered for him. She realized she was sick and
tired of this routine, but she still loved him. No matter how she tried to command her heart, Sakuno couldn't push her
feelings away. Sakuno was slightly tired from thinking about her love life. She was so into thought, before she knew it, she
was at her front door. She took her keys, unlocked the door and entered. Locking the door, she headed straight for her
room and leaped into bed. She heaved a huge sigh. It was finally the weekend. She changed and went to the kitchen to get
something to eat. On the fridge was a note from obaa-chan stating she had a few errands to run after tennis practice and
she would be home late. Sakuno decided to binge tonight. Normally she would have had a healthy snack like a salad, but she
went straight for the strawberry ice cream. Curling up with a good manga, she tried nursing her broken heart.
