How the pokemon universe was made
There is a lot of debate over this subject, was mew first? Arceus? DITTO?! Well I'm here to set the record straight, here goes.
The universe was inevitably crushed to oblivion. very little escaped the destruction. One of those was a strand of DNA. The DNA, when exposed to the void radiation, mutated into a small pokemon called Mew. Mew drifted through this nothingness, all alone. It was boring. Mew wanted a friend, so he made an egg, which soon hatched into the pokemon known as Arceus. The two played together but soon became bored. Mew did not know what he wanted, so he asked Arceus to make something so they could do more, also giving Arceus power for this in the form of plates. Arceus created the universe, and one world he made especially for them: earth. Mew then created three pokemon to keep this new universe in balance. One to keep time together, one to keep space together, and one to keep watch over it all from its special domain. Mew also created people and thee pokemon to give all creatures knowledge, emotion, and will power. It created many more creatures and the world worked well. However one day the pokemon Arceus gave its power to a human. Mew was enraged that its friend would give away the power that wasn't even his. Arceus tried to get the power back, but failed. It then created another universe out of pure energy, so it could rest and escape mew. This plan failed and mew locked it there for many thousands of years. When Arceus returned, it finally got the power back and was not harmed, but lost all of its power.
