A Poem to the World
A message to the abandoned and the taken' in
To the sad and to the sorry, to the happy and to the grateful
To the obese and to the underweight, to the loved, and to the hated
To the wishful and to the thankful, to those who have it all and those that have nothing
To the loving of others and to the hating of themselves, to the cutters and to the nobodies
To those that want to kill themselves and those that want to kill others
To the world and all its different and suffering people
You didn't choose your fate, it didn't choose you
The future has not come, and so it can't be made or prepared for you
You make your own life; you carve it into the stone and are set for life
All your characteristics:
Your mind, your DNA, your family, your birthplace, your clothes, and your wealth
They all make up who you are
Some point in our lives, we realize that we exist, but have no proof that anyone else exists
None of your senses give you awareness of other's consciousness
That is the moment of truth
That is the time to read this, and to choose your path
To stray away from the unwanted fate given and set forth to you by your own self
Become your own person; leave the drugs, the sex, the starvation, and the overeating
The cutting, the suicide, the killing, and the pain
We must all come to understand, that nothing controls you
You can break any habit and addiction, overcome any obstacle and distance
You have a choice to leave everything,
Except your past and your history
Your memories are forever
