Molly was in the waiting room lying on a gurney. Sherlock was right by her side.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"No. What if something happens in there? What if I die on the table?" Molly replied.

"That won't happen. The surgeon is skilled in removing tonsils. He has done it many times." Sherlock said.

"You'll wait for me right?"

"Of course. I will come into recovery as soon as you are done." Sherlock assured.

The nurses wheeled Molly away.

Sherlock was in the waiting room pacing back and forth.

"Sherlock, sit down and relax." John said.

"I can't. Not until they tell me about Molly."

After a couple hours, a nurse came out and smiled at Sherlock.

"Mr. Holmes, Molly's surgery was a success and she has been taken to recovery."

"Thank God." John said.

Sherlock didn't waste any time getting to her room. He greeted Molly with a kiss.

"How are you feeling?"

"Alright. I can't have solid foods for a bit." Molly replied. Her eyes drooped. "Sorry, it's the anesthesia still in my system."

"It's fine. You just sleep, I'll be here when you wake up."

When Molly woke up she saw Sherlock sitting in a chair next to her.

"I read that people who have had their tonsils removed like cold things, so I went to get you ice cream." Sherlock started. Molly smiled at his kindness. "But then I realized that I didn't know what your favorite flavor was, so I got you Neapolitan."

"Thank you. That was very sweet of you." Molly said.

He gave her a small quart of the sweet ice cream. She took a bite and smiled.

"That helps a lot." Molly said. She saw him pull out a quart. "What kind did you get?"

"Cotton Candy." Sherlock said.

Molly giggled. "I never saw you as a cotton candy kind of guy."

"I'm full of surprises."
