A/U: Please no flames! This is my first time writing a fanfic, so honest opinion, constructive critism is always welcomed! :D

" Ryoma-kun is…going." Sakuno kept on repeating the sentences in her head as she sat on the bed in her room.

The room was dark, but she did not bother to switch any lights on.

" He is going…" Sakuno sighed and wiped her tears.

She reached into her bag pack and took out a tennis ball and stared at the Ryoma's face she had drawn on it.

" I should be glad that he is going to America, but why do I feel so sad..?"

Sakuno broke down into loud sobs and decided to end her crush on him.

*Inner sakuno*

" You love him right? Then go and tell him! "

* Sakuno *

" I can't do anything now, isn't it? Ryoma-kun doesn't even have any feelings for me! "

* Inner *

"Then prove yourself that you are worthy of his love!"

* Sakuno*

" HOW? I don't know anything! Hello? Why aren't you answering my question?

*Inner*

" You will find it, have confidence "

----------------------Back to present--------------------

" Prove myself…to be worthy…how? " sakuno thought.

Suddenly, she lifted up her head and the first thing she saw was the tennis racket leaning on the wall.

A spark of light glowed in her mind and it lifted her somber feelings. The spark of light grew and soon it lighted up her Sakuno's mind.

" I know…I know what I am suppose to do now! "

From that day onwards, Sakuno's ordinary school girl life was changed forever…

" Ohayo, Tomo-chan! " Sakuno called out to her best friend.

" Oh Sakuno! " Tomo turned around and waited for Sakuno to catch up with her.

" So…you okay? You looked quite upset when you heard about…about…you know…"

Tomo asked, and eyed Sakuno very carefully, cautious not to make her any sadder.

" Oh that…" Sakuno paused for a while, " I decided to congratulate him."

She forced those words out of her mouth.

"Really? That's great! I am glad you think that way! You know Ryoma-sama is really great…" Tomo blabbered away,

with Sakuno following behind.

" Ryoma-kun, just you wait. I will get you to fall for me! "
