Merry Christmas, sweetheart.
Paris, 8 PM, 25th of December
It was Christmas.
Abrielle and Jehan had been married for five months now.
Jehan and Abrielle were spending their first Christmas silently and peacefully.
They sat by the fire.
It was time for them to open their presents.
Abrielle got Jehan a book, a new bottle of ink, a new pen and a new hat.
Jehan got Abrielle pearls, perfume and a new pretty dress.
There were still two presents to be revealed.
''Close your eyes, my love.'' Jehan instructed Abrielle.
Abrielle closed her eyes with a smile.
Jehan stood up, walked to the spare room and came back a little while later, carrying a box.
''Open your eyes, my love.'' Jehan said.
Abrielle opened her eyes and looked at the box in front of her.
''Come on, open it.'' Jehan told her.
Abrielle's fingers oved to the lid of the box and took it off.
She laughed as a little Dachshund raised his head.
She lifted the little dog out of the box and held it close to her.
''Awwwww! Thank you, my love!'' Abrielle said happily.
''I got him everything already. He has been here for a few days already in the spare room. That's why I spent so much time there. He has only spent these two minutes in the box.'' Jehan explained.
The dog licked Abrielle's chin as she giggled.
''What's going to be his name?'' Jehan asked.
Abrielle thought for a moment and said ''Timmy.''.
Jehan smiled.
''Little Timmy. I like it.'' Jehan said.
''I've got a surprise for you too.'' Abrielle said as she let the dog go.
He immediately layed down in between Abrielle and Jehan.
She took his hands in hers and placed them on her stomach.
''We're going to be mummy and daddy in six months!'' Abrielle told him happily.
Jehan grinned and kissed her.
''I'm going to be a papa!'' Jehan exclaimed happily.
Abrielle grinned widely.
Jehan and Abrielle spent the rest of their first Christmas snuggling together with their little Timmy.
It was a perfect Christmas for the both of them.
