He holds out the hat, an offering of peace. His hand trembles slightly, from excitement, from nervousness.
The boy knocks the hat out of his hands. His eyes smolder with anger, and it's repressed barely, held by a thin wall keeping the flames from Yuki. The flames will surely burn him, and he is scared and doesn't know what he did to deserve being burnt.
The fiery boy leaves, and he stumbles to the ground. Words go through his head like a broken record, I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry. Something is pressing at his eyes, and he blinks to keep the tears away.
And he is sorry, and he doesn't know what for. He thinks he sees a tiny patch of cloth on his knee on fire, so he cries to put it out.
