Heart Surgery Isn't That Bad...

"I'm sorry Raph, this just can't work..." Envy's eyes swelled with tears. The tears weren't from her sadness, but from the guilt created deep in her heart by the look on Raph's face. How could she have been so foolish? Raph had never shown his true feelings to anyone except her... and she betrayed him. She betrayed everything he thought was real. "I'm sorry..."

"Just..." Raph looked so torn. His insides must have been ripping themselves apart in brutal confusion. "Can you lie to me... one last time?"

Envy gave a resentful look, but if he deserved anything at this moment it was her full attention. He deep green eyes lightened up and for a moment she felt the ancient energey that had been locked inside her swell up once more. She crossed the floor and entered into his waiting arms. His embrace was always the tightest and most comfortable. His biceps pressing her even closer to him. Her words tickled his ear with the magic they held. "I love you..." He was under her spell once more and they shared a fiery kiss unlike any they had shared before.

Their first kiss had been so weird. How do turtles kiss humans anyways. They learned. It was a different experience. But this kiss was different because she was crying with guilt and he was too far under to realize anything, but her lies. He'd been so good to her even when he was a jerk to everyone else. He never hurt her, but she had no trouble hurting him and even now she realized she was hurting him more. She pulled away. "I'm sorry..." She ran from the room leaving a confused Raphael to try and comprehend her odd behavior.

Don't be upset. It's supposed to be this short. I'm experimenting right now so um... review and tell me if you're interested. There is SOOOO much story behind this. I will begin on the second chapter, but I'm not putting it up until I see at least two reviews. K? Kay. I heart you!
