Dana sat and thought as she reviewed the day's events.
She replayed her conversation with Carter in her mind repeatedly.

Carter: So...Well...Dana...I've been trying to tell you for 1 year how I feel.
Dana: You can tell me now.
Carter: I think...I'm in love with you!
Dana: Well...then I think I'm in love with you too.
Carter: Really?
Dana: Really!

She felt her heart beat rapidly as she heard and said those words.
She felt his kiss linger.
She knew.
At that exact moment her feelings were confirmed.

Carter: We've been out on a few dates and...I guess what i'm trying to say is...will
you go exclusive with me?
Dana:YES!

She felt better than she had in weeks.
But then a thought entered her mind.
My father! What will he say?
She dreaded the thought. She loved her father but, he couldn't let go of his "little girl."
She didn't know what to do. She reasoned with herself that honesty is the best policy.
