Anyway, onward to the story...

I was dressed in my best goth garb, standing in the cemetary I had snuck into so many times. Alexander stood next to me, looking handsome as ever. We had been dating for over two years, and were about to move in together.

Tonight was the night. Alexander had made a promise to me, and I intended to make sure he kept it.And what had he promised???

My one, life-long dream to come true, I was to become a vampire, but not just any vampire, I was to be bonded with Alexander for eternity.

"Ready?" Alexander whispered softly.

"I've been ready for this my whole life!"I said giddily.

"I'm still not sure..." He looked uneasy.

"Please?" I said.

"Raven, is this what you really want?" He seemed hopeful.

"Of course! I love you and I want to be bonded for eternity and live at night and sleep during the day and..." I said quickly.

"Okay, okay." Alexander said.

He looked at the cup he was holding. Then at me, then at the grave we were standing by, back at me, and he started to say the words that needed to be said so we were bonded for eternity.

I smiled happily and drank from the cup and felt his fangs on my neck. This was it. I was so ready. He bit into my neck and gave me a long kiss. I felt a little dizzy, but Alexander held me upright. I fell asleep in his arms, and that's all I remember.

--------------------------------------

I woke up and it was still dark. I suddenly sat up quickly, remembering the night before. I wondered if I was a vampire. I turned to see I was in Alexander and my new home...in a coffin...

"YES!" I screamed.

"What?" A voice rang out.

"I'm a vampire and we're bonded for eternity!!!" I screamed again.

"I know, I was there, remember?" Alexander came into view.

"Yeah..."

I gave him a kiss fill with so much passion, I thouhgt I would pass out. I felt his tonue glide across my lips and opened them eagerly. I couldn't belive was a vampire, my life-long dream, and my Gothic mate had made it so. I was on cloud nine.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too." Alexander whispered back.

And he held out his hand to me, and I took it graciously. He turned into a bat and we flew away into the night. Me and my Gothic Mate, eternally.
