Happy Mother's Day to Everyone!
Lily Potter
Lily walked downstairs sleepily. Her husband had gotten up earlier and had taken their son with him.
When she turned into the kitchen, she couldn't help but bursting out in laughter.
Her husband had decided to make her breakfast, by the looks of things. There were cooking ingredients all over the counters, hand- prints out of flour on the fridge, and egg yolks in the sink.
When her eyes reached her son- who was quarantined in the corner- she grinned widely.
Harry had obviously been responsible for the flour. His dark hair was powdered nearly white and his clothes looked polka dotted.
When she looked happily at James, he grinned and said, "Happy Mother's Day!"
And Harry giggled happily.
Molly Weasley
Five children came through the kitchen door, brightly colored paper clutched in their hands.
Ginny was tottering; holding onto Percy as support. Fred and George were snickering mischievously. Ron was standing there, contently smiling at Molly.
She crouched and opened her arms wide. They came hurtling at her, full speed.
After Molly had read their cards (Percy had dictated most of them) and stopped Fred and George's prank before it had gone too far (Arthur must have given them the bubblegum), she took them out to the garden.
She smiled, thinking about how wonderful Mother's Day had been.
Ginny Potter
Ginny immediately woke up when three small body masses slammed into her. She heard Harry groan, before turning over, grabbing her around the waist and whispered, "Happy Mother's Day."
"Mummy!" Five year old Lily exclaimed. "Time to wake up!"
"We made you breakfast, Mum," said eight year old James who, last year, randomly decided that since he was a big boy, he wouldn't call her "Mummy" anymore.
Seven year old Albus just nodded.
"Hmm..." Ginny said before grabbing Al around the waist and pulled him to her.
"Mummy!" Al yelled happily.
"Ahh!" James and Lily yelled as Harry reached over and grabbed them around the waist.
A knock came from the door and Teddy, fourteen years now, came in.
"Hey, Teddy!" James called happily.
"Hey, Jamie," Teddy replied. He walked over and crouched next to Ginny.
"Happy Mother's Day, Aunt Ginny."
She pulled him into the hug. Today was perfect.
