Katie Cambridge sighed as she got out of bed. She stripped down and hopped into the shower. She hissed in pain as the hot water stung the bruises that covered her body. After she was finished, she wrapped her body in a towel and went back to her room. She pulled out a black spaghetti tank top, gray sweatpants, and shoes. She put them on followed by a WWE Hoodie to cover her bruises. As she was fixing herself something to eat, her house phone rang.
"Hey chica. It's Melina, just wanted to check on you. Call me later."
The phone machine cut off and Katie smiled. She shrugged her shoulders and grabbed her hotel card and phone. She walked out the door and walked to Melina's hotel room. She knocked on the door and the door swung open.
"Hey chica."
Katie smiled and pulled Melina into a hug. She walked inside the room and plopped on the couch. Melina sat down beside her.
"So how's the WWE been so far?"
Katie gave her a thumbs up, signing for awesome. Melina smiled and nodded.
"Have you seen anyone in particular that you like," Melina asked.
Katiesmiled and pointed to a picture of Triple H. Melina smirked.
"You got a crush on Triple H, huh?"
Katie shook her head, no.
"Yes, you do. Don't deny it... you know you like him," Melina said, playfully teasing her.
Katie blushed madly, looking down at her feet.
"HA! You do like him. He likes you, too. He talks about you all the time."
Katie pointed to herself, confusion written on her face.
"Yes you."
Katie rolled the sleeves of her sweater, letting Melina see the bruises. Melina gasped.
"Oh my god. Don't tell me...."
Katie nodded and looked down, a tear rolling down her face. Melina sighed and pulled her friend into a hug. She hated to see Katie hurt like this. Katie has been through too much at such a young age. Melina has persuaded her to stay with her, but Katie refused. Melina pulled away, wiping the tears off Katie's face.
"For now on, you are staying with me."
Katie nodded and smiled shyly.
"Do you want to go to the lounge andhang out with me and some of the wrestlers," Melina asked.
Katie nodded as she let the sleeves of her sweater down. Her and Melina stood up.
"Okay, give me a minute." Katie rolled her eyes as Melina ran into the bathroom.
A few minutes later....
Melina finally came out the bathroom. Katie smiled and shook her head, Melina will be Melina.
"Ready to go?"
Katie nodded and the two girls headed to the lounge.
