I really wanted to write a coffee-shop AU and here it is. Writing Frobin for the first time. SO yeah :D Enjoy and tell me what you think if you feel like it^^ Usual disclaimers

The smell of coffee hit Franky as he opened the door. He entered the small coffee-shop, closing the door behind himself immediately to stop the cold air from coming inside.

It was already late autumn and a storm was raging outside, but Franky wore not more than a Hawaiian shirt and shorts.

He would have been wearing only a speedo, but that would have prohibited him from entering any of the cafes and shops in the area.

"Hello Robin." he greeted the young dark-haired woman behind the counter. "I hope you have a SUPER day."

She chuckled in response "Hello Franky. Thank you. My day has been quite nice till now. Do you want the usual?"

"Yeah. Unless you started selling cola." he replied with a grin.

"Unfortunately we didn't." she smiled again, starting to prepare his drink. "How is work going?"
"The business is slow, but that isn't a surprise at all at this time of the year." the blue-haired man muttered. "The preparations for the end of the year have already started."
"Iceburg-san must have a lot paperwork to do." Robin replied, finishing Franky's drink with a small coffee-art showing a lion.

"You are getting better at this. The cat is SUPER." the blue-haired man shouted upon seeing the picture.

"It's a lion!" Robin blushed, while Franky studied the animal floating on his drink before finally nodding in realization.

"See you tomorrow." He grinned before turning around to leave.

"Good bye-ai!" The greeting turned into a shout.

Franky twisted around, almost spilling his coffee, wanting to make sure Robin was fine as fast as possible.

What he saw made him very angry.

There was Spandam, the shop's manager and a well-known asshole, groping Robin, who stood there, her face an emotionless mask.

"What are you doing?" he growled at Spandam, who simply grinned at him in a way too self-assure way.

"Why don't you do something? Why don't you fight back?" Franky turned to Robin, realizing that talking to the idiot had no sense.

But before the young woman could answer, Spandam opened his mouth. "She is simply a good employee. Wo-"

A punch straight into his face stopped him effectively from spilling even more nonsense.

"You should quit here. There are better places." Franky remarked, but seeing Robin's face make him frown.

"As a student with a schedule like mine you don't have much of a choice." she replied unhappily.

"You have! Come on! I know a place you could start right now, where you can earn more than here under better circumstances!" the blue-haired man blurred out, remembering that Sanji mentioned to need new staff in his shop as the old quit some days ago.

The raven-haired woman stared at him in surprise. If what Franky said was true..

"I quit." Robin whispered.

"What?" Spandam couldn't believe his ears.

"I quit!" she slapped him, this time almost shouting.

While the men stared at her in shock, the young woman walked out from behind the counter and grabbed Franky's hand, dragging the speechless man out into the cold autumn-air. Luckily it has stopped raining minutes before.

To Robin's surprise, Franky introduced her to a young man called Sanji, who owned a small but popular cafe, less than a week after the memorable day, getting her a job at his place.

He had been right, the payment was better and even more important, Sanji treated women with greatest respect.

The raven-haired beauty learned soon, that his exaggeration and constant flirting were the reason why most waitresses quit after a short period.

But after the blonde cook learned that Robin and Franky started dating, he calmed down a little, making the work really pleasant and getting himself at least one waitress who would stay at least until her studies were over.
