Leonard Fischer, a rich businessman sat alone in his mansion, admiring his latest find which is a sword decorated with rubies with a name inscribed on the side. After a while, the door to his office opened.

" Good morning, Mr Fischer" Gideon Wright, one of Leonard's friends, said as he entered the room.

"Same to you Gideon. Tell me, how are you doing" Mr Fischer said.

"I am doing fine, Jason Eames kept me busy today but not much. What is that sword you have there".

"You mean this, this sword is what I have recently acquired by a very nice gentleman. His name was Rufus Scrimgeour. He said that this sword was his family heirloom or something like that and he wanted to give it to me as a sign of our friendship".

Gideon admired the sword, from it's ruby decorated handle to to the name inscribed on the side which read Godric Gryffindor.

"Well, that is a nice sword. Now if you will excuse me, I need to be on my way. Farewell" Gideon said and after a handshake, he exited the room.

6 years later

Leonard sat in his room, tired after a party that was held on the 20th anniversary of Fischer-Colliander Shipping Company. He decided to read a book for a while before leaving for the bed. He however had a feeling that something was missing. He looked around for a bit and noticed that the sword was missing. "Where is it, where is my sword". He hastily paced around for a bit. "Alright, let's think about this for a while, something must have happened to the sword, where it would be. I can't think straight, perhaps I should go to bed and forget that the whole ordeal never happened". Leonard then drank some water from the glass sitting on a table beside the bed. After that, he went to sleep.

If you want to know something about what you just read, that is my idea of what was the state of the Gryffindor's sword before the events in the Chamber of Secrets. Also, I figured that Rufus Scrimgeour would have distant blood relations with the Godric Gryffindor and would therefore be someone to have kept the sword as a family heirloom. All kinds of reviews are welcome.
