Unlike most people, Jean Granger had a longing for childish drawings . The reason for it , her daughter's extraordinary talent in drawing. Hermione had started to show her talent ever since she had discovered the idea of it . She had quickly left behind drawing immature pictures and splattering colors all over the paper and had gone forward to sketches and things way beyond her age . Jean had learnt to derive her daughter's mood from her artistic achievements. The more miserable she was , the quality of the pictures were far off than usual , they were extraordinary . Hermione had always been rather miserable as a child and the house had begun to fill up with her pictures . If Hermione was happy, she will just scribble on the paper or create some childish drawings. The decrease in the amount of masterpieces were a proof of Hermione's happiness throughout the years she had spent at Hogwarts. There was a time when she had taken up painting masterpieces again, after her fourth year at Hogwarts and it had continued until the beginning of this present year . After that, Jean had found countless childish drawings and she knew that she had to thank a certain pale , Blond-haired boy for that .

Tonight, as she went to call her daughter for dinner , she expected to find Hermione in her room , blushing and all , giving her the news of her daughter's engagement. Instead of that , she found an empty room with a single piece of paper lying on the desk . Reaching the desk , Jean looked down at the paper . She saw a masterpiece, done with simple black ink . Oh ! How a certain Draco Malfoy was going to pay for breaking her daughter's heart .
