Hello Fanfiction

It was snow that brought them together. It started out pretty innocent. The occasional snowball hurtling at ones stomach. Shoving each other into the white substance. But then they stepped out of their comfort zone.

"Annabeth!" Percy whined for the eighth time that day. "They have blue ice cream!"

"Yes, Percy," Annabeth calmly responded from behind the book she was reading, "but it's winter and there's snow. You aren't supposed to eat ice cream."

"But Annabeth! They have it! Nowhere else will!"

"Percy, we already passed the ice cream shop. No," Annabeth stated firmly.

Huffing, Percy gave in. "Fine."

They arrived at the Jackson residence earlier than expected. Percy had lost his key for the seventeenth time and there wasn't a key underneath the welcome mat. Percy suggested going to a park that was a block away. Annabeth agreed.

The park was nice and very white. The snow had overcome everything. "It's so… bright," Percy said after a pause.

"Yeah," Annabeth affirmed, "it is." Before she could process what was going on, a snowball found its way to her stomach. "Oh, Jackson!" she cried. "You are so dead!" She threw a nice sized snowball at him. He yelped and began to run towards her.

"What are you doing!?" Annabeth laughed.

"You gave me no choice!" Percy exclaimed. He shoved her. And she fell face first into the snow.

She pushed herself up onto her knees and got up. "Seaweed Brain, you gave me no choice! She shoved him down. He yelped once again and grabbed her wrist. "Why me!?"

Annabeth landed on top of Percy. He stared at her with wide sea-green eyes. She saw his gaze drift to her lips before back up to her eyes. "Just kiss me already."

Maybe he deserved that ice cream.
