In Konaha it's illegal to be in love with the same gender.
Naruto and Sasuke have been secretly together since before Sasuke left the village. When Naruto becomes Hokage after Sasuke comes back some bad things happen to them and they end up being roped into married to two other women to protect each other.
This doesnt mean they don't spend time together.
And when Sarada and Boroto find out they will unknowingly cause more problems for their fathers. Problems that could be fatal to the tragically in love pair.
