DISCLAIMER: Naw, I don't own ANYTHING harry potter related, the characters, the ideas, or anything! (I do own a bag of Bertie Bott's Beans though) Everything belongs to J.K. Rowling (she's quite the genius)

Hermione had been a frequent visitor to the room of requirement after its use as headquarters for Dumbledore's Army had ceased. She found that the solitude and tranquility of the room was welcoming and seemed to become that of a sanctuary.

For a long while, the room of requirement had been in use; Draco tapped his foot anxiously. He had looked around to make sure no one would see him waiting for the current occupant to leave before residing to slumping against the wall. Draco's posture is impeccably prudent, but he had grown a bit tired and decided to cut loose a bit.

Rubbing his hands through his bleach-blonde head, he gave the corridor another sweeping look and turned on his lantern so he could continue reading a novel of the history of Hogwarts. He wanted to unearth what other secrets were hidden in this ancient castle.

Hermione had been using the room of requirement as a means of her own hybrid-library. She had all the books she'd ever want or need there, and also a few very comfy over-stuffed armchairs she could read in at her leisure. She had grown very fond of sneaking away to her library, her own secret room. She was walking through the shelves she had most diligently given attention to lately, and noticed one of the novels was missing in the shelf. She knew other people could technically enter her library if that were their need or wish, but she hadn't ever thought of the possibilities of such a thing happening…

Little did she know, Draco also entered this room looking for research material and also books he knew wouldn't be found in the school's library.

But that wasn't the only use of the room of requirement he had. -He often entered the room where he had before worked on the vanishing cabinets and Harry had also hidden his potion's book when proved it needed to be hidden-………as did Hermione when she was feeling adventurous, she loved discovering new things.

Outside in the corridor, Draco was growing tired; he closed his book and put it under his head as a pillow. Looking up at the ceiling, he thought about what all he didn't know and what all he wanted to know more than anything… The secrets of the castle, the trick to finding the perfect woman, and how lately Draco hadn't felt himself; as if the life he had been leading before this sentiment had been childish and Pratt-like. He didn't want to be cruel to others anymore.

"Excluding Potter of course"

He mumbled aloud to himself. He had felt empty, without a purpose. Why? He wasn't quite sure of why, all he knew at that point was that he needed someone…

His head swimming, those thoughts lead him off to sleep. Of course, he didn't awaken before Miss Granger had spotted him on her way out…

(What did you guys think? This was done when I was bored at like 4:21 in the morning. I get lazy and may not hop right back onto this story [unless I get encouraging feedback] I'd love for you to tell me what you thought)
