Prologue: The beginning.
A long time ago, there was a powerful empire known as the Ace Empire. It is know for it's beautiful scenery of the village and cities, the enchanting untouched forest, the calm blue ocean and their very strong military. But then, something happen and the people began to fight each other for power.
So one day, a young boy came and stopped the war of Ace Empire from going any further thus bringing peace by splitting the Ace Empire into four kingdoms. The kingdom of Hearts(yellow), Spades(red), Clover(green) and Diamonds(blue).
The kingdom of Hearts are known for its scenery. A beautiful place full of yellow sunflower and roses. The Hearts kingdom is a soothing kingdom with many towns and cities. It's the forth largest kingdom, but has the highest population of citizens. The Hearts kingdom is also known for their many inventions, such as the printing press. The monarchs of the Hearts kingdom are known for being calm and collective. They have the largest army out of the four kingdoms.
The kingdom of Diamonds is the richest kingdom, also known for making many fine clothing and fabrics. They're the third largest kingdom, with islands off the coast of West Coast of their land. They're a very neutral kingdom, hardly ever going into wars. The monarchs of the Diamonds kingdom are known for being airheads and always happy. Many aristocrats can be found in Diamonds, the population is mainly aristocratic.
Unlike the Diamonds that surrounded by the ocean, the kingdom of Clovers is surrounded by the evergreen forest and the kingdom furthest North. They have the most land out of the four kingdoms. They're known for their luck and have many famous businessmen come from their kingdom. The Clovers kingdom is very rural, with few cities and more towns/villages. The Clovers monarchs are known for trying to do the best for their people, even if it ends up failing. Arch-enemies with the Spades kingdom.
Lastly is the Kingdom of Spades. The kingdom with the highest number of knights and armies. This kingdom has a variety of weapon and is the strongest out of the four. Second largest kingdom. The Spades is also known for their excellent military. Many Queen of Spades is usually known for their excellent naval strategies. The Spades monarchs are very well known for their stubbornness and is ruled by a tyrant from time to time. Arch-enemies with the Clovers for unknown reason.
Therefore with this,the story of evil begins...
In an isolated field of sunflower, a young boy with beautiful blue eyes and golden hair is playing alone. His hair is softly blew by the wind like wisp and shining under the sun. The sound of his laughter is heard throughout the sunflower field. In the middle of the field is an abandoned church which seems like it'll crumbled down anytime, which is dangerous but to the boy...this is his secret hideout.
"Prince Len!" A distance voice called from afar. The young boy look at the direction from where the voice came and beam brightly, his smile so bright it could blind you. The one calling him is no one other than his first and best friend. And yes, the boy was a prince. Kagamine Len, a young just turned 7 years old boy and also is the heir of the kingdom of Hearts throne.
"Mou... Rinrin... I told you not to call me that..." Len said with pout making his best friend, Rin grins a little. She knows that this annoys him greatly. Oh how much he hated formalities.
"Oh, I should. Your dear father was crying like waterfall as he strangled the knight who supposed to be guarding your room. We got a hard time trying to stop his highness from killing the poor man..." Rin grin grew wider as she remember the scene. Her blue ocean eyes twinkled as she remember the scene that happen not long ago before she was order or more like begged by the king to find him.
Len snort when he heard that and Rin gave him a disapproving look, not amused by his snort. Len decided to ignore it. "Oh really? What did father say to the man?" Len asked, interested. Despite his father is the king, he could act not kingly sometimes, which is amusing.
"'Where's my baby?! My beautiful baby boy! How could you not see my angel?!' Something like that if I'm not mistaken" Rin mimicked the king gone berserk resulting both of them to laugh. Len was the first to stop laughing. He look at Rin with his sapphire colour eyes. The first time he met Rin, he thought he was looking at his reflection. Many call them twins or siblings because of how much they look, act and talk alike which some said it was quite creepy.
"I'm sooo going to get scolded by father, right?" Len asked as he stands up with Rin's help. Rin shrugged her shoulder with a small grin still on her face. She hummed softly.
"Maybe. I guess so, Len..." and they both leave the sunflower field, unaware of what's going to happen next.

The smell of smokes and bloods, the sounds of swords clashing and guns banging, the heat of fire that's beginning to eat up the palace... Everywhere. The Spades suddenly ambushed the Hearts in the middle of night. People screaming, angry and frightened cries were heard everywhere. In a small room, Len was crying as Rin tried to comfort him. Rin was the first one to reach Len's room and quickly pulled him out from there to the basement. The sound of soldiers marching towards them scares them.
Rin stands up, stumbling a bit and winced at her bloodied shoulder that was cut on her way to Len's room but ignored it and pulled Len up. She took an old dusty cloth on the wooden table and covered Len with it. She walk towards the fireplace before pushing on one of the bricks on the wall. A small tunnel inside the fireplace began to open.
"Crawl inside here. Hurry Len!" Rin whispered to Len. Len nodded quickly and began to crawl inside before he glanced at Rin who seems very tired. "What a-about you, R-Rin?" He said as tears began to fall from his eyes.
Rin smiled sadly and bended down at the same height as Len and kissed his forehead. "Don't worry, I'll come after this. But now, listen carefully Len..." Rin looked at Len sternly as she wipe his tears away.
"I'll distract them and give you time. This secret path is entrusted to me by the queen herself, your mother. It'll led you to our secret hideout which is the sunflower field" she coughed suddenly because of the smoke "so please stay there until everything's is over... Or go find Kaito if you see him but I rather not see you do that" She said before the wall began to close. Len shook his head and hold Rin's hand.
"W-we could escape t-together! Please Rin... Don't leave me alone..." Len whimpered. As Rin pulled her hand away from Len's, she gave one last face cold and void of emotion but her eyes shows the exact opposite.
"I'm sorry Len... But if I don't come back, don't come search for me..."
Len let out a silent angry shout before everything turn pitch black.
10 years later.
The sound of people talking and roaming freely in the streets. The rustling noises of the horses and carriage. It's been 10 years after the Spades ambush. With the help of the Diamonds and a little from the Clovers, the starting of a war between Hearts and Spades managed to be stopped and a victory for the Hearts. But despite them being the victor in this short war, tragedies occured. The Hearts and Len had lost their king and father that night. King Leon have passed away while fighting the Spades. Many mourned over his death and their families especially Len, because the last of his relative died. After a few weeks, the Hearts began to rebuild the country. And Len take over the late king's throne at the age of 7.
Becoming the new King of Hearts was hard but Len could managed with the help and support from his people. Len become just like his father. A wise, kind and humble king. He have become a great ruler and was look up by the many.

Len stare at he cloudless blue sky from his room. Though he love peoples company and all the talking, he prefer being alone more. It's been 10 years since Spades tried to invade them. He lost so many people he care and know. And two most important people in his life that was his father and Rin. He miss his father who was a mother hen and the person who he always admire greatly. Not to mention his one and only relative left in the world. Rin, who was a great friend that always stands by his side with a smile and protect him until she's willing to sacrifice her life.
"I'm sorry Len... But if I don't come back, don't come search for me..."
Len winced at the words, her last words. His father body was found by the knights, but Rin's body were never found. Some said she was captured and killed while others said she was alive and managed to run away. Len decided to believe the latter of course.
But after what it felt like hours, his peaceful moment was ruined when one of his servants came into the his room calling his name with formalities. Oh how much Len hated formalities! Len open his beautiful sapphire eyes and look at the white hair servant boy.
The boy try to catch his breath before looking at the prince with his turquoise eyes. Len just look at him curiously, waiting for what the boy is about to say. As if reading the blonde's mind, the boy began to break the news.
"J-Just a fe-few hours ago, th-there is a group of t-trave-velers t-that found an in-injured p-person in the f-of-forest..." The servant stuttered. Len just stare boringly at him. So what? Everyday there will be at least one person injured at least.
"So what is the matter?" The young ruler asked, looking at the boy.
"T-The person wea-wears a ve-very high r-ranking Spades military uni-uniform. We think he is a g-general..." The poor boy said, scared. When Len heard the word Spades, he stand up and his laid back face turn into a very serious one. General? Of the Spades? It doesn't matter if it's a child or an adult, the person is still a Spades though.
"General? Of the Spades?" He said with cold eyes that made the boy in front him shriek before nodding his head.
"Yes. B-But the thing is... His tattoo(1)..." Piko said weakly. "What's wrong with his tattoo?" Len said, suddenly looking curious.
"H-he had t-two different tattoos on both of his hand... His right h-hand had the mark of the Hearts almost f-fading, which is ours wh-while the o-other one is Spades... I thin-think he is once our people..." Piko explained to the young prince and clearly hinting about the Spades ambushed 10 years ago.
"What do you mean? And what does he looks like?" Len question.
"Maybe he is once the ci-citizen of our kingdom, y-you know, before the Spades ambush us? And he looks a lot like you, sire. Blonde hair, pale skin e-except he look a bit older than you... W-We didn't get to see his eyes, s-so we guess he also have blue eyes l-like you sire..."
This made Len stop asking question and lost in his thoughts. Only one name came to his mind that time. A person who he had not see since the Spades ambush 10 years ago.
'Rin?'
Len thought hard about it. Is it Rin? But it seems impossible! The servant boy said that the general of Spades is a young man but maybe she's cross-dressing? No... Maybe Rin's a boy since the past? Ridiculous. Or it's just someone else that who look like me? Len knew he couldn't get his hopes high. It'll just hurt him in the end but still, he couldn't help but hope that person is Rin. After a few minute, Len look at the white haired boy.
"Where is this person located?" He asked the boy.

The sound of wings flapping is heard. The young king of Hearts is flying on his pegasus named Josephine, a white fur beast with golden mane that shines down the sun. Len was determined to see the person if he's Rin or not.
'Wait for me, Rin or maybe not Rin. But if you're Rin, I don't care what you say but this time... I'll come to search for you..."
